They have several locations, I have been to the one in Mystic.You walk into a really nice aroma of the different spices / teas, it actually blends well together smell wise.The two ladies there were phenomenal and a great help. A plethora of information. There was a suggestion to mix a spice and sugar together for cauliflower. I look forward to trying it!I could have easily spent an hour in this store looking at all of the options.Teas / spices/sugars / salts/honey's.Many options and great gifts for someone you know who likes to try new things and enjoys cooking overall.They have a birthday club and because it was my birthday I actually received one of the spices free, as I just signed up for the birthday club when I was cashing out ❤️

What a great little place!!I went to get my nails done on new years eve, and when I was finished I decided to hit Guilford center for a little local shopping. I decided to go in even though I'm really not a tea person, and I'm so glad I did!!First, google said they closed at 5. It was only 3, but they must have been closing early for the holiday. Unfortunately I had no idea and walked in right as they were about to lock up and clean or I wouldn't have bothered them, but the owner, Cindy, was more than welcome to let me shop around with the doors locked so she could finish up her day. She was amazingly sweet, even though I just walked in at closing, and a wonderful help! VERY knowledgeable and passionate about her products. She even took the time to show me around, all the different types of teas, spices and herbs they have, and how I can use them all in various ways. I ended up leaving with a delicious 3 pack of spice blends as a gift for someone, which she also picked me out a recipe card to go with one of the spices I purchased. That's another cool thing about this place, they have recipe cards for all of the spices and blends they have!! I even left with a mango herbal tea, and it's delicious!!!! I'll be going back this weekend for more!! A great little place to spend your money especially if you love specialty teas and spices!!

Such a quaint shop yet you’ll find everything you need for spices, teas, sugar delicacies! The lady who helped us was friendly yet not pushy. I got some oolong coconut tea that is divine, coconut spice and garlic masala. Price was not cheap but not outrageous either for specialty items. Will come again!

Was not greeded on way in , after looking at a display a lady appeared from the back and ask if we ever been to a spice &tea exchange, said yes looking for a particular spice that I bought at another location . She ask if we have masks and I said no and was asked to leave , NOT offer one and being fully vaccinated and boostered. And every shop visited on the block didn't require a mask , find it weird how "help the local businesses campaign and they don't want the business , probably would spent over a $100 .hope with those restrictions they can stay in business , I know I'll never shop there again
I love this store and love gifting items for Christmas. The store is small but pleasantly packed with all sorts of unique sugars, teas, spices, gift packs, recipes, and more!

Your pallet communicates to your mind to purchase everything that makes you smile.The Spice & Tea Exchange will put balance in your life with the extended varieties of sea salts, peppers, sugars, teas, a variety of specialty blended rice, amongst flavored honeys, and gift items.For a small store with very limited space, they've managed to make it work. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and can advise you on whatever you tastebuds require or you body needs to soothe aches and pains. I would recommend The Spice & Tea Exchange to everyone, they have excellent gifts for the chef and the creative cook.

I love the different types of salt. This morning I actually made a wonderful salad with some of the red Hawaiian sea salt. It's beautiful as a decoration or a finishing salt, but also I love the flavor of it. I'm having fun trying all the different salts.

They have a wide range of spice BLENDS. Don’t go there if you want to buy individual spices (I.e. an ounce of basil or garlic or vanilla etc). What they have are small (1 ounce) packages of mixes of spices to put on food.What they have is very good.They also sell different kinds of salt and various teas (but again most of the teas are blends with other ingredients).The staff is very helpful and friendly.
