This is my one and only review of anything I have posted, the lady behind the counter is just straight up rude to her customers. I walked in and immediately was yelled at to go sit in my car as well as other people there at the same time as me were also yelled at multiple times. After this I asked for soy and duck sauce and was yelled at again saying “I gave you one of each that is plenty” in a full yelling voice. I will not be going back after how rude the owners are.

Went for marks birthday a few years back. had a great time. very kind owners and son, girl is kinda odd. great delivery drivers. great food. always in the mood. theyre gonna get sued!

One of two decent places in Hamden. Not very organized, it seems pretty obvious they start cooking your food when you pull up to get it. There is often a wait and you will find yourself amongst some very impatient people waiting for their food. This is a family owned place, the couple cooks together and the kid works the phone with no one else and the food is good. Used to be a lot better, they're not very friendly or welcoming, you can barely walk in the door. Probably never going back to be honest. No where to sit down obviously.Kid-friendliness: Chicken nuggets and fries.

Would give it 0 stars if it was possible. So hostile on the phone and hung up before telling me a time or amount of money. Lady was horribly rude and basically threw the food at me. Food was fine definitely wasn't the worst Chinese I've had but most definitely wasn't the best (i got one large shrimp lo mein). Place was dirty and did not make eye contact with me the first 10 minutes of me standing there. Would rather support any other hardworking immigrant family who is actually appreciative of business and looks like they give even one ounce of care into their business especially coming from someone who works in the service industry and in a family owned restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

I have patronized this business for many years prior to changing my diet choices. The food is good but the customer service is horrendous. The female proprietor thinks it’s good business to yell, scream and disrespect the customers who are the main part of them having a business. I REFUSE to spend my hard earned money on someone who thinks it’s okay to disrespect a PAYING CUSTOMER. I WILL NEVER do business with them ever again!!!! In reading the reviews I’ve discovered that the most complaints are about the lack of customer service. I would recommend that anyone who endured this treatment ban this place. The owner of this establishment must be taught a lesson through loss of money and business.

Colleagues recommended.Super disappointing. Store is a tiny "hole in the wall", which doesn't look clean, although they have an A rating posted. Asked for brown rice (which they said they had) & got their standard yellow rice. General Tso was mostly breading, lacked the chicken. Boneless spare ribs were horrible!!! They looked like beef jerky, tasted like they were smoked & had absolutely no sauce to them. We paid $8.25 for them, ate two pieces & threw the rest out they were so bad. Egg roll was the only saving grace. I will never go back.

I was disrespected by the staff/owners of this establishment. I’ve been coming here for years and although the lady is rude over the phone when placing my order I never let that influence my view of the food. It’s cheap and tasty food so I figured you get what you pay for which means a little bit of attitude on the phone. Sure. However they constantly mess up our orders, and we never say anything. It’s not worth the 40 minute to an hour wait for the right order or for me to leave my house to pick up a missing side which will make the rest of my food cold by the time I get home.Anyway, today when they did not get the order right I decided to call and ask if they could deliver the missing noodles asap especially since this wasn’t the first time. The lady hung up the phone. I called again to explain the situation and she was so nasty. Delivery would take an hour so I went to get my lo mein and asked if I could get reimbursed just for the lo mein (for the inconvenience). I thought I was being reasonable. I had paid cash so I didn’t think I was asking for much. She put a soda on the counter saying that’s all she could do but that’s not what I was asking for. She proceeded by snatching the food out of my hand, yelled, and made a gesture with her mouth where I felt like she was trying to spit at me (not sure what that was) in front of other customers. I felt humiliated not as a customer but as a human being. No one should ever feel like this. I was asking politely. We always tip this family very well when they deliver, we WERE loyal customers. I’m confused as why the lady there believes it is ok to treat people like that.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! Completely rude and arrogant both wife and husband! Charged my card twice and never received meal. Went to store to straighten the situation and no sympathy at all for their error, instead was told I was refunded and not to order again. Wife cursed and yelled. This is not a place of business it’s completely trash
