This was my husband's and I first time going to the restaurant for a weekend getaway and the customer service was absolutely disappointing. When I told the waitress about my allergies, she looked at me weird which was not appreciated. In addition, gave my husband a very rude response when he asked for no high fructose corn syrup by saying it will cost more. I am only giving this a 2 star rating is because the cost of food was a lot compared to the amount we got. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Usually stop in for breakfast, could be as late as 11 AM . No problem there.

I've been going here for years and the food is always great. I enjoy their chicken tenders and fries meal when I want lunch and there are a ton of great breakfast options. Depending on the day, it can get pretty crowded here though. It's great on weekdays or off hours on weekends, but during peak brunch time, I would not go here with a large group.Parking: The parking lot is free and a very short walk from Brown Stone House, but during peak hours, you may not find a spot. There are other free parking lots nearby though and the nearby restaurants don't all have the same busy times as Brown Stone House, so that helps.

I was visiting my sister and brother in law and we decided to get some breakfast. They mentioned Brown Stone House and I was famished so I said of course as a First Timer would. The service is great and you seat yourselves. Our waitress was quick and attentive. If I had to wait 45 mins to an hour, I would definitely do that. I got the 2X2X2 breakfast with two eggs over hard, two strips of bacon and two slices of French toast. Everything was cooked well and I will point out two things; the eggs were cooked the way I ordered them and that says a lot. Next, you can kind of see the French toast size width wise. It's not too thin or too thick and not dry either...very tasty! They don't have dairy alternatives like oat or almond milk, so get some hot tea like myself or drink some coffee at home prior to eating at this awesome establishment!!

After seeing the long lines at State Street (I love State Street Cafe but the waits sometimes are wild; food is amazing though), we were wondering where to get some brunch, and en route to finding such a place, we popped into this hidden gem. Service is professional and welcoming. I like that you can seat yourself as it frees up the waitresses' time. Food was delish and came out wicked fast after ordered. I ordered the country eggs Bennie that was on their specials menu, and my husband got the breakfast scrambler, and sides of toast and a croissant, respectively. For a Saturday morning at 10am, it was busy but not insanely so. We enjoyed the food and diner feel and we'll for sure be back! We were impressed and we were excited to try something new in the neighborhood.

We swung by here for breakfast during a break from our road trip. The first diner we went to was closed so I hopped on Yelp and saw the Brown Stone. My wife and I came in at 7 am on a Monday and was warmly greeted. I ordered the Hungry Man and my wife ordered a veggie omelette. They say you can't have fast and good, but the Brown Stone showed you can. Our breakfast was delicious, service was great, and the price was right. Please go give this local place some business.

I had the veggie omelette and it was delicious and wonderful service from a lady who I felt like was my Aunty Diane just spoiling me for the weekend:) this place is for sure A hidden gem, no frills just a great place. My food came out fast and was delicious and the service was Top notch! If I am back in this area I will go out of my way to stop here again!

More run down than charming, this old school diner offers all the standard items you'd expect. Service is fast and very friendly. My breakfast sandwich with egg whites was larger than average, heavy on the eggs but light on bacon ...and flavor. This plus a large coffee came to a mind-blowing $12.Parking: There is no street parking. You can park two lots over. It may or may not be free, I popped in for an order to go.

Usually, when I'm new in town, I find someone who's grown up there and ask where the best breakfast place would be in town.. A new friend suggested Brown Stonehouse.... The people were very cordial, very friendly... The food was absolutely fantastic. I loved my breakfast.... I love to go have breakfast at private small places. The big chains tend to be Hitt or miss..... But I have to say I fell in love with this place... And I can't wait for next Saturday to go for breakfast.. I give it a 9.55 out of 10. And the only reason why it didn't get a ten. I never given anything a 10. Go there and enjoy you will love it, I guarantee it.Parking: Very large parking lot in the back..... Parking is no problem.
