“I always use drive-thru ,but I never had a issue or complaint with the service or food. The employees are always friendly and have my order together quickly . The food is what you'd expect nothing over the top just chicken and sides . I am happy they started making bigger boxes ,because two pieces and one side never satisfies my hungry boys .“
“Went to the Haven Hot Chicken in North Haven with my son. I got The Sandwich with Medium heat, and my son got The Sandwich with Haven heat and fries. The sandwiches and fries were delicious. The workers there were courteous and helpful explaining about the different heat levels. The place has a great atmosphere and was clean.“

“Outstanding food in the heart of New Haven. It's a small, clean place with huge portion sizes. The service was attentive and the staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the different dishes. I had the lomo saltado (classic Peruvian stir-fried beef dish with fries) and my dining partner had a Peruvian rotisserie chicken sandwich. The food is flavorful and an assortment of sauces were provided to add different flavor profiles - spicy, sweet, tangy, etc. We sampled some sauces, which tasted great, but the food was well-seasoned, so we did not need to add any sauces. We both left happy and full. On another date, I also ordered an arroz con mariscos (rice with seafood). There was many pieces of seafood (mussels, crab, shrimp, squid) and it reminded me of the times I had paella in Spain. Icaru is an excellent addition to the New Haven food scene and is a must try for people interested in exploring the diversity of dining in New Haven!“
“ABSOLUTE BEST NOT GUILTY PLEASURE! Came in having car trouble and part delays by ANOTHER month earlier today. Walking in, I was greeted by Jonathan and he humored every one of my questions and even said because I was so “bubbly” it was on them! I hadn’t yet told him what happened that day until after!! At the end, I left with a new beanie, a bag full of amazing food I’m eating now, and a heart so good. Jonathan told me their motto statement which atm I can’t remember but the gist was unwavering appreciation and amazing hospitality. Checked both of those boxes! “First tried it about a month ago and have been addicted since. The chicken has good flavor and is very juicy. I tried the sweet heat bowl last time and it is amazing. It has such great flavor. I highly recommend trying Haven Hot Chicken if you are a chicken person. We have gone 4 times and have not been disappointed yet.“
“My wife and I had the opportunity for a late lunch today. This was our second trip to the this location. We went back because ALL the employees are extremely professional and there to provide the optimal experience. While we were dining several people came up to us asking if we needed a refill or if there was something else they could do to make our visit the best that it could be. There were a group of people at a larger table and i could see some badges. Chic-fil-a badges. I assumed on of them was the franchises owner and I was able to figure out who he was. This man as he was walking up to the counter and he asked how we were doing. He cared. He listened. It was TODD the owner. We had a great conversation and made us feel welcome. We complemented him on his location. I let him know the fresh waffle fries are what got my attention. Todd, congrats for what you have and what you are doing for your company. “Usually, I get the crispy chicken nugget meal. I have tried the chicken sandwich, and both are a hit. Line is somewhat a wait, but it is always worth it. Also, I love my cookie and cream milkshake. ? Lemonade is usually good, my first go-to with the meal. I'm just happy to have a location in CT. The one located in the casino doesn't hit the same.Parking: Parking gets a little crazy when the drive thru is busy. But there are plenty of spaces to park at the restaurant and also close by“

“My food was messed up at first and then a day after they look at my review after I placed it, they called me to see if my order was right, and I told him I called grub hub support they didn't do nothing they didn't give me my refund nothing and that he would we redo my order and deliver to me, and I really appreciate the service and I would definitely recommend this place in all it was a really nice place“
