ORALE, the food was amazing! This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. I ordered the steak torta and my husband ordered shrimp tacos. It was the best torta that I've ever had and my husband could not stop talking about how delicious his steak tacos were. I used their chile de arbol and made sure to add it to every bite. The atmosphere itself is pretty small and needs some updating and they only had one person on the floor while it was pretty busy but that didnt really affect the service as much as I was expecting. Despite all of that, my food was superb and we will definitely be returning.

The food was authentic. Service was very good. We had the tongue, tacos and flautas. Both were excellent. The rice is spiced with saffron, and the beans were also outstanding.The decor was also fun and festive.

I. Don't. Know. How this place has 4.6 out of 5 stars... I envy all of you who had a great experience here. We ordered through DoorDash. I got an al pastor burrito. It was just okay. I feel terrible saying this but Bubbakoos burritos are way better, to give you an idea. Also, it was supposed to be in a crispy bowl and it wasn't. The chips were overdone. The missus got birria tacos. I tried them and agree with her that they were doughy and bland. We also got esquites, which was bland as well. And it still had pieces of cob in it. Finally, we had a flan that had a strange bitterness to it. I really wish we'd had a more positive experience with this place. As it stands, we have no desire to ever try them again.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in CT! The food is fresh and authentic, the service is spectacular, and every time I go back I notice something new - they’re always putting money and effort back into the restaurant. I drive almost an hour just to eat here!
