A very unique and a nice place to stop. They only have take out but have a nice selection in the refrigerated case & offer hot soup to go with a choice of a roll or crackers. The soups are delicious! The staff is friendly and they offer cookies and sweet treats as well! I definitely recommend ?

Soup girl is a staple on Whitney. One of the best stops for a quick and healthy meal they have multiple delicious vegan options as well! I didn't notice hot soups, but they had a full fridge of soup ready for pick up. They double as scoop girl and has a selection of ice cream pints. They have some delicious baked goods and I always end up grabbing a couple! Definitely a stop worth making!

I really love soups during the colder damp days and when I’m not feeling up to par. This place has the best soups, other than what my grandmother used to make, that I’ve had. Having tried several of them, I had pegged this as my go to place but after the unnecessary and rude response from one of the employees recently, I have to rethink that decision. The soups are truly delicious but that employee needs to lose her attitude.

I got a bowl hot lasagna soup with bread for lunch, and it was delicious. I also picked up another soup from the refrigerator case for tomorrow, and some tres leches bread pudding for desert. They have four or five hot soups which change daily, plus a variety of soups in the refrigerator case. The interior is very small, there is no seating, so if you don't want to take your soup home, plan to eat it in your car like I didn't
Was driving home from Clinton and it was chilly and windy. Didn’t want to drive to Hamden without checking to see if the soups I wanted were available. Called to see if the golden pea soup and chicken orzo was still available and was told, Yup, it’s in the fridge, thanked her and got, bye with a hang up. Got there, got the soup. Was checking out and now I get conversation. She had to work all day tomorrow and of course the boss is off. Wow, I work all day too just like most people. Soup was great, guest service needs help.

My friend recommended I try the soup, not feeling well and really needed a bowl of soup,it took awhile for the Uber to deliver my order, but it was worth the wait. DELICIOUS ? ? ?.and the salted chocolate chip cookie. Great job The Soup Girl.
