I really enjoyed the artichoke heart appetizer. A nice blend with very good flavor. The pork chop was tasty and the tangy lemon sauce very yummy. It was plentiful so plan on taking some home. The creme brûlée was a little different than the typical style but delicious. Another great evening at Gather55!
I went to dinner with 5 friends. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Ryan provided impeccable service, and Chefs Rob Maffucci and Vin Keola provided 3 courses of incredible food. Knowing the proceeds from this spectacular meal will help to feed others in the community was the icing on the cake. My friends and I really enjoyed this experience and will definitely be back.

Met expectations! Service was maybe TOO attentive, if that' s possible :) It was quiet on our previous visit (weekday evening), but busy this last time (Saturday night) and a bit loud. We love it, and will be back.

I have been here 3 times and every time the courses were exceptional. The wait staff are amazing. And it's for such a great cause! I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

First time we dined here everything was incredible! 5/5 stars all around! Unfortunately, this time was not the same. Service was incredibly slow and multiple of the dishes were just a little bit off.
Food was amazing, but more importantly the mission of this restaurant to feed people in need is even more important. I highly recommend Gather 55 not just because of the delicious food but because at the same time you help other people to have some food when they can't afford it. Helping others is just a great concept of a restaurant.

What a find! For the same price as any West Hartford restaurant, you are contributing to feeding the homeless and hungry. The mission of this restaurant, in conjunction with delicious food and excellent service, means we'll be back again soon. Try the celery steak. It's amazing!!

A lovely meal, with emphasis on quality ingredients perfectly prepared. The menu changes monthly or seasonally, and while I didn't think the current selections had as much "wow factor" as on a previous visit, our server (Ryan) was outstanding. Nice ambience. And it's good to know that the profits from an evening of fine dining are funneled into Hands on Hartford, a comprehensive food and training program for community residents.
Cannot say enough about Gather! The creativity of the dishes, excellent preparation,the ambiance with art work and flowers, the servers perfect attention, easy parking I will definitely be back

Excellent service. Excellent concept. Appetizers were best. Entrees were good, not great. Decor was lovely. Wine selection was limited and prices high for the quality. Overall this is a wonderful community resource which should be supported.

As usual, our experience at Gather55 was terrific! In addition to the attentive service and delicious food, the night we dined there, there was live music! A young woman and her dad serenaded diners for an hour with jazz tunes. Everything together made for a special Evening.
We were excited to try the new December menu. Rob Maffucci's menu items were good but not great as some of the previous chefs. The music was excellent. The pork chop not the original Billy Grant pork chop. We still give a 5 star rating because of our server Andrea and we will definitely be back! We love the mission and the revolving chef concept.
We had a spectacular meal at Gather55! There were 4 diners and we sampled 2 choices from each of the 3 courses-one more delicious than the next. However, in addition to the food, the staff is amazing. You are met with a smile and a warm greeting immediately when you arrive and each person you come into contact with is friendly and welcoming. They seem happy to be working there! The manager stopped at our table 3 different times and we had conversations with him about the mission of Gather55 and its unique place among Hartford's restaurants. It's a very good feeling to have an outstanding dining experience while also doing good for our community!
