Service is friendly, food is awesome, decor is a little dated and food is pricey. Still woul recommend

We ordered their chicken parm 2.0 and lobster ravioli. The chicken parm even sitting in the car for a bit on our 10 minute drive home was still super crispy and delicious! Only weird thing was the random veggies on the side of the chicken smushed into the same container. The lobster ravioli was great too and tasted super fresh. Would recommend and would come again!

Great little spot in downtown Hartford. We went before the UConn game on a Sunday afternoon. Delicious food, friendly staff and owner, nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Just awful, food was cold, I had fast food that tasted better, I am not Italian and cook better pasta than what we got. Not sure how it has any good reviews, one start is too much. It was an expensive disappointment :(

I've now been to this bistro many times for their Happy Hours. In the summer, I loved sitting outside at a table watching folks go by. Their lounge is well appointed and cosy. Intimate and inviting. Two happy hour appetizers plus a glass of wine cost about $20. Their HOUSE wines are quite good, moreso than other venues. The food is basically decent but I've never been certain who is in the kitchen or if the food has been heated up from frozen at 5pm. The last time I was there I heard a kitchen staffer ask what is in the pasta fagioli I ordered. My soup came to me as a thin tomato base with a few pasta noodles and white beans. Better off with their very tasty fried calamari and caesar salad when the right person has prepared it. Once I received a caesar with no cheese, some romaine lettuce and a few croutons. I had to ask for cheese and evo. OMG. Funny. I am certain they do cook beautiful food for the main restaurant patrons. Their bar staff is always friendly, although they don't know or have the proper liquors to make certain cocktails. Once I asked if they had any form of raspberry/blackberry liquour to add to a drink, they did not. Its a neighborhood friendly hangout and definitely has that Soho vibe, a hard to find karma in Hartford. I've sat there while known male patrons enter for beers, exit, and return with expletives. I've never been certain as to the why. By all means, visit as a couple. Just be prepared if you are a single female elder. The men might become ribald.

Had dinner here, place was empty when we got here. The food was ok, I wouldn't call this place a must go.... I probably wouldn't go back here again.

Did take out and thought the food was really too greasy for my liking. Will try something else next time.

Some of the best Italian we’ve ever had. Service was great, bartender/manager was great to chat with and suggest drinks. If we’re ever back in Hartford we will 100% make time to go again!

How this place has four stars is far beyond my understanding. One star is four too many. My wife and I got food from here and the sheer lack of care that goes into this food is wild. I ordered a shrimp scampi and she ordered a beef ravioli. I could only taste the lemon in the scampi and it wasn't strong. This flavor was only brought into the food because of a river of flavorless butter water that was the sauce. It was like the ingredients just didn't like eachother or something and gave up. The shrimp was obviously frozen. It has that "back of the freezer" taste to it. It was like eating rubbery air.

Good spot for good wine and good food. Meatballs, eggplant rollatini and lemon chicken. Stop by.

Bartender was welcoming and attentive... had the eggplant rollatini with a small caesar salad from the happy hour menu... returned after the event I was attending with a friend and we enjoyed a late night drink. Definitely will be back!

Lovely

Becky and the guy who made and the creator of the “watermelon slushy”was a hit!! I'm from Philadelphia and I will definitely come back and visit!! Awesome customer service!!!

Friendly, attentive service. The custinie appetizer was excellent. The baked haddock was fair. I suspect cooking sherry (salted, less flavor) was used rather than standard, drinking sherry. Desserts were routine. My son had the ravioli (white sauce) which he enjoyed. This four star restaurant (my rating) is a fine addition to Colchester. We will return.
