If you are ordering through a third party app, don’t bother . I’ve tried to order three different occasions through different apps and they always cancel it , never have what I order in stock , and are disgustingly rude to the couriers picking up for customers and don’t even bother to help them

Do not come here looking for good service! The food is decent SOMETIMES. The first time i went and got the lunch special the food was nice and fresh. Today, i ordered two meals. The rice was dry, kingfish was tough and i asked for jerk chicken, the employee went to the back and put two old pieces of baked chicken in my plate.I threw it all away because it was disgusting. I should’ve opened it before i left. He came back laughing and whispering to the other employee and i was very confused. The employees are always rude. I am Caribbean so i understand how we can be but in a business, they should handle themselves better.

I love going to Golden Krust. I never had any issues with my order. Every Easter & whenever I want my Jamaican fix, I go get my bun n cheese from them. Their beef patties are on point...everything is delish...big up to the Hawthorne family for never disappointing. Oh & their coco bread is awesome, also their cocktail patties...afterall I am Jamaican, so yes, I know good food. BIG UP UNUH SELF ?

Hi guys, so like, I just went to Golden Crust and like, OMG, the macaroni in cheese was totally dried out sitting there on display. Eww, and don't even get me started on the dried peas in the rice and the undercooked veggies. The only thing that was fresh were the patties. And like, hello, the employees were just standing around chit chatting. Like, seriously? I love Golden Crust, it's one of the best Jamaican restaurants to go eat at, but this was hands down the worst one I have ever been to. Like, not even kidding. #disappointed
Everytime I come here as a customer the ladies have the worst attitudes , they act like they’re reluctant to serve me.And as an Uber driver the entire staff looks at me and my peers with disgust everytime we check in for our pickups…Today they refused myself and 4 other Uber drivers service until I started yelling !Yup I’m going Karen on these mfs

Some folks like mild flavors and some like spicy. You will be satisfied with the cuisine here at Golden Krust in Hartford. It would be nice if this restaurant had a larger space and parking.
Bought two large soups. There was nothing in it but carrots smfh. I immediately called them and asked how come he didn’t tell me that they were selling broth. He stated “I didn’t know you wanted a soup” Like for real??? I asked for chicken soup! Told him nobody sells broth for a full price. ($11 each) He stated, “Fair” but didn’t say he will reimburse me or give me a credit.

I visited the Hartford location on Tuesday 07/25. Atmosphere and service were great which was my reason for leaving a tip. I ordered a large Oxtail meal, which is all I ever order from your restaurants. It was too spicy and did not taste like the standard Golden Krust Oxtail recipe. Whoever the chef was for the day decided to cook the oxtail their way which was a shame. I could not even finish it.
