I had the curry goat, jerk pork and chicken soup. Everytging was great and the lady that helped me was very friendly. Will be back to try the steamed fish and other entrees.

My favorite is the salmon and Rasta pasta (spicy). Food is great and service as well.Located downtown Hartford. You can take it to go or eat in. Cozy little place. I come from New York at least once every two months to get my food from this establishment

Went to Vernon Jamaican spot next day got LARGE jerk chicken meal $15.88, IN VERNON. Super expensive this place is. Pretty cashier tho.

This is what EXCELLENT service looks like! I’m ALWAYS gonna order from here anytime I’m in the area again. I ordered the fried chicken with oxtail gravy, white rice, cabbage, beef patty and coco bread. Everything was good and fresh!

I had the jerk chicken it was tender but it wasn’t jerk chicken idk what it was but I didn’t taste like jerk whatsoever but it was still good….the steamed cabbage is just missing flavor it’s cooked

Tried this place out because of the great reviews and I can definitely understand why now. The curried chicken was flavorful, tender, and tasted lighter (which I enjoyed) than some curries that are thicker and more oily so it was quite refreshing. The meat chunks were also larger which I enjoyed. The jerk chicken was the most flavorful jerk chicken I have had so far in this area. The flavors penetrated even to the middle of the white meat. Rice and beans tasted great, light coconut like taste and the steamed veggies had a nice natural sweetness to them and were cooked nice and tender.

This Rasta Pasta was the best in the state by far. The staff is really friendly. They asked how my spice tolerance was and they definitely fulfilled my spice cravings. It was super flavorful and I will return again!
