I had been wanting to try Coracora for years and finally had the chance. The empanadas were the best I've ever had - delicious fillings, but a dough like the most amazing light pie crust. Creative, authentic menu, beautiful decor, reasonable prices, excellent service -- all came together for an exceptional night out.

Went here with my Peruvian family. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Very attentive waitress, and quick service. The food was delicious, we ordered Patasca, arroz chaufa de carne, and ceviche. Everything was warm and on point. It's a hidden gem. The place isn't fancy and it's more of a family restaurant. It is not as popular, but it's definitely a hidden gem. 10/10 we will be coming here again.

What a great place! From the time we arrived til the time we left we were felt to feel like family. Marco was a kind and attentive server. The food was carefully and lovingly prepared and was not your average fare. Empanada trio app was delicious and loved the variety choice. Chicha non- alcoholic drink was interestingly spiced and a nice alternative option to alcohol. Tried the ceviche, which may not be everyones taste but well prepared - it was spicy even at the “medium” level. Desserts were AMAZING - we were surprised with a chocolate cake for a birthday and also had flan - but the ice cream is stunning. Cherimoya - or custard apple - ice cream was like heaven in a dish - wow! The atmosphere and decor is fun and you could tell by the variety of people there that it is universally loved. Try it today.

Absolutely... positiviely DELICIOUS. Unusual (for us) dishes, beautifully prepared and served by the charming server, Fabiola. She explained each dish and its preparation, made recommendations and was spot on. My 12 year old great nephew was adventuresome and tried Veal Heart which was served on 3 skewers, prepared medium as requested. ANTICUCHOS $16 Grilled veal-heart marinated with Aji Panca. Served with golden potatoes and chocloHe proclaimed it "delicious... like steak but a little more chewy. For his main he had ceviche in "tiger's milk" served in a large glass container, topped with fried calamari. and cancha. LECHE DE TIGRE $18Diced barramundi, shrimp, red onion choclo; all marinated in Classic Tiger’s Milk and Aji Limon. I had the filet sauteed in soy sauce with tomatoes, fingerling potatoes and rice. Perfectly cooked and spiced. $37 The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays... and the Bethlehem Village Scene was incredible. All in all this is a very special restaurant that deserves your attention. I will definitely back. Thank you to all at Cora Cora! Y ou deserve your Jame Beard recognition.

Cora Cora has been on my list of place to go for years! Finally got a chance to go with my adult son. What a treat! Stop looking for an excuse to go and just go. We tried a local beer and the Pisco Sour - both delightful. We each enjoyed empanadas for the starter - the empanadas aren't huge but but we could have shared one order. Instead we each ordered our own - he got all three empanadas filled with beef. I got one of each - beef, chicken, and cheese/guava. The empanadas came and they were light and billowy and sprinkled with powdered sugar - yes, even the meat ones. They were delicious - the cheese/guava were our favorite, then the beef, and then the chicken. For our meal, I ordered the Orgia Marina and my son ordered the Arroz Con Mariscos paella. Holy cow! The Orgia Marina was a deconstructed ceviche with big shrimp, calamai, barramundi (by far my favorite part), octopus, and mussels. The Arroz Con Mariscos was a healthy portion of seafood and rice. We had no room for dessert which is a bummer because the menu sounded amazing!

Since we read about Coracora and the James Beard recognized chef, we wanted to go. Finally had an excuse to make the drive to Hartford and planned to make it more fun with dinner at Corpora. We had a reservation for 6pm - but due to craziness on I-84 and backups on I-91 - we knew we would be very late for our reservation. We called, and despite it being a very busy Friday night, they were able to move our res to 6:45pm. It's a casual and fun atmosphere. Was very loud as there was a party go 20 that was having lots of fun. It was fine. Staff were very busy, but still attentive and professional. Only bad spot was getting the appetizers before the drinks arrived. Food was beautifully presented and portions were huge! We had left overs for another dinner, plus more! We had empanadas, Ceviche Mixto, a seafood and rice dish and a rib-eye served with an egg, fries and rice. All A+. Great food and lots of fun. Not inexpensive, but given the quality and size of portions - worth it.

When I arrived with my family, the waitresses were having lunch, neither of them deigned to stop to serve us until after a while and one of them looked at us very badly. Unfortunately we left because we didn't feel welcome.

Great service and food. The ribeye and ceviche mixto A+, the cheese stuffed yuca fries with the huacachina sauce was so delicious. Decor was cool and restaurant was very clean. Our waiter Klener was very friendly. One constructive criticism I can give is to not make the temperature in the restaurant so cold, it’s summer, we prefer not to wear coats, 69 is the perfect degree or a bit higher.

Cora Cora's excellent reputation is well-deserved. Dining there was the treat my husband and I were expecting. Our server, Melanie, was attentive, welcoming, cheerful, and patient. The food was extraordinary, but expect very large portions and pace yourself. The appetizer tacos were full and tasty. We had only the vaguest idea what an empanada was so maybe criticism here is not deserved. However, we found the pastry to be quite good, but the "stuffing" to be bland. I would be tempted to order the guava and cheese for dessert. I thought it was the best, but a bit sweet for an appetizer. I had the northern style paella and my husband had the "Con Marisco" style. They were both delicious and chock-a-block full of seafood. If you're not a raw onion fan, don't be discouraged by the "onion salad" that comes on top of the meal. It's very much like pico de gallo in a Mexican restaurant and makes a great combination with the paella. So glad I didn't ask them to leave it off. Dessert was also amazing. My husband had the creme brule and loved it. I had the flan (which they called cream t...). It was out of this world! with the most delicious caramel sauce.

This was our first visit and we had a fabulous meal. We started with two margaritas and two mojitos which were cold and refreshing. The four of us shared the mixto ceviche, empanadas and the Brasa salad - all so fresh and tasty. One of us had the Chaufa with shrimp, the men both had the Arroz Con Norteno and I had the Arroz Con Mariscos. The portions were all huge (everyone got doggy bags, even the guys!) , the food was piping hot and all delicious. We shared a churro with ice cream for dessert. A really wonderful meal, can’t wait to go back again!
