I came her for an event and the food was dry, carne frita was hard and it looked old , beef patty oily, bad taste! Looked like it was re-fry. I went back to return it and she gave me two Alcapurrias de yuca, it didn’t taste like Alcapurrias, it was cold, and hard, it felt dry. I was surprised because the Event was right there! You should make customer happy! Food should always be fresh.

This bowl was a little expensive for the portion size. The market was cute and had a bunch of different types of food in it. There's ample seating to sit in the middle. The service was quick. My steak was a little hard but overall the bowl was pretty good. I would definitely check out some of the other places in the Parkville Market.

I came here for my favorite Puerto Rican dish Pastelón. They only served it Fri - Sun. Not many places make and sell it, so I was more than happy to drive here for it. It is basically a Puerto Rican lasagna. MofonGo's pastelón is always delicious and I always enjoy it with some empanadas on the side. I had planned on trying more from this place but the Pastelón was usually my goal so I never got the chance. I can't remember which empanadas are my favorite so I always change it up. They sell chicken beef, pork, and pizza. Then the last time I went, they didn't have the Pastelón It was still on the menu but The girl said they just didn't have any plantains. I would have happily picked some up and waited lol it was early Saturday afternoon but A Puerto Rican restaurant with no plantains for the weekend sounded suspect. Definitely disappointing... It still shows up on their online menu on the weekends( but not M-Th) so thankfully that means they still sell it. Service is can be a hit or miss. Certain workers really aren't cut out for customer interaction. While everybody else is getting rice bowls, mofongo, and other popular dishes, that one little line on the sign at this location that reads Pastelón always lights up my life! Grab one to eat there and a 2nd one for home!

Ordered the pollo de chicharron which came with mofongo. The chicken had been sitting on a warmer for a while and didn’t taste very fresh and wasn’t hot.

Nice small restaurant within the Parkville Market eatery. Food is quite tasty but the portion size seemed smaller since their initial opening. Service is hit or miss. They're friendly... once you get their attention to order. Person behind the cash register seemed completely disengaged with their job, no greeting to the customer, no engagement, just handed the receipt back with the order number and stared off into the distance without a word. Luckily the food is incredibly tasty and worth the stop; of course with Parkville you have so many options to choose from with everyone in your party.

I visited Mofongos for lunch, excited to try the shrimp mofongo. Sadly, I was disappointed. It lacked the flavor that I anticipated and even after the time we waited for it, it wasn't even hot. Possibly because the young lady taking orders was more consumed with her phone than being attentive to customers. We waited several minutes before even being asked to place an order. I likely wouldn't have submitted this review despite the disappointment at Mofongos because the other food we had (tacos and loaded fries) definitely overshadowed the bland mofongo and unseasoned shrimp. And while I did enjoy those other food options at Parkville Market, an unpleasant interaction with one of the employees in the parking lot made me feel it was necessary. As we were exiting, an employee blocked the exit in order to take boxes into the building. and when we asked if she could move, she parked, exited her vehicle, shrugged, pointed to a small opening behind us and rudely said "well this is employee parking so go the other way." When asked how we would know the parking was for employees considering there was no sign, she shrugged and said "they must have took it down." As my husband let her know, it costs you nothing to show a little kindness. This was our first time visiting Parkville and were excited to return with friends due to all the wonderful food options but when we do go back, it will certainly not be to this particular restaurant.

Try the trifongo!! Such a guilty pleasure. Service is ok. The food makes the wait worth it!

Love it in person but i’ve ordered twice online for delivery and orders were missing items..would have loved to give 5 stars because this place got me hooked on puerto rican food but my orders are usually incorrect

Pernil Trifongo was so good! The pernil was so juicy, the mofongo had a mix of maduros & normal mashed plantains. My only critique is that the rice tasted like there was too much tomato paste in it, otherwise very good!
