Went to this Albany Ave Popeyes to buy something for my son after picking him up from school we ordered chicken and a bowl of rice and beans as we left and I opened the bag with the food I smelled an odor I pulled over on the side of the road and fully opened the bag just to smell the stench of the rice and beans I made a u-turn and went back to the store the I explained to the server that the rice and beans was spoiled he just took it and throw it in the garbage and asked me if I wanted another one I quickly said NO I want my money back he did not say sorry about that or anything just had a bad attitude I will never buy from this store ever again. Upper management need to check out this store to see exactly what is going on there.

The management at this location is terrible, they refused to serve us because we asked if we could use the red before we made an order. They refused to let us use the restroom until we ordered first. The woman that was working at the front started getting belligerent, yelling and acting as if they wanted to fight us. One of the women was going to take our order and the manager stated that if she took our order she was going to fire her from her job! (Aren’t you here to sell chicken? Is this not a business?) it’s sad. The manager then says to us “and you can call corporate office and make a complaint because nothing is coming out of it anyway, none of us will get fired”. This is very sad because there were people with children on the inside of this establishment and I also had my son with me. The staff in this poppy’s location is a disgrace not only to the community but to the poppy’s franchise also. I will be following up with corporate office because the fact that they chose not to serve us is defamation of character, rude and downright lazy. If you ask me Corprate needs to clean house before they have no chicken to sell at this establishment.

I have never in my life experienced the unprofessional behavior that I had to go through last night in this incompetent, disgusting, and ignorant resteraunt. I made an order online and waited over 20 minutes for my order to be completely wrong. After going in to explain what was done wrong, they were rude about their mistake and could not even fulfill my already PAID for meal. This place needs to be shut down or looked into.
