Had the chicken parm meal. I really liked the chicken and love that it is organic. The pasta was slightly more cooked than I prefer, but I still ate half of it and liked the sauce. My friend got a root beer that was made with molasses and loved it.

The food the not bad but I am very disappointed by their customer service. I have ordered take out them a few times now and the person at the front desk is super rude. The first time I picked up my food the person the person assumed that I was a Uber drive. For context: I am South Asian. I understand that it could be just a mistake and I didn’t think much of it. But this is the third time I went there and they assumed that I’m an Uber/grubhub driver. Every time I was picking up food, the person “are you Uber/grubhub driver?” I have no complaints about the food but very disappointed with the way they made assumptions.

The food was incredible and the staff was so friendly. We are from out of town and came in close to closing time and the server made sure to get our order quickly so we could eat. The appetizers, dinner, and wine was absolutely amazing. A must go to when in Hartford!!

I got married on 2/2/24 in Hartford. My rehearsal dinner was at this establishment on 2/1/24. The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely, but it’s unfortunate that all of that was overshadowed by the bald man doing most of the serving for our party. As the bride, I was completely ignored and talked down to while all of my male family members were served first. A specific example is when I politely and repeatedly asked for a simple cup of coffee during the dinner service (planning an entire wedding by myself was completely exhausting, so a cup of joe was imperative), and the server said, condescendingly, “you have to wait, love bug, we’re not serving coffee yet.” I then watched him serve my brother and one of the groomsmen a cup of coffee in front of me. My maid of honor had to physically go upstairs and ask for a cup of coffee from the bar and bring it down. The staff did not acknowledge me or prioritize my presence in any way, but made sure to wait hand and foot on the men around me. It was really disappointing. The restaurant is great, so it was sad to experience.

Food was absolutely yummy and I agree with many of the posts here. The quality of ingredients shows here. I think it's worth mentioning, since it seems the owner responds to reviews. My coffee was just plain sad. Perhaps it was an off day but it actually looked like tea. It appeared very watered down. This is how weak it was. I guess I expected a strong solid cup of Italian or European coffee. Just my observation on this one day. Overall the food speaks for itself.

Food, service and atmosphere.I had the Sunday Dinner that I could not get enough of.I am very picky with my meatballs having grown up in NYC with all the Italian restaurants/delis etc. - these were great and the Braciole was just as good.My girl had the Salmon which she raved about.I will see you again Sorella!!

I visited an Italian restaurant in Connecticut called Sorrea that was suggested by another near by restaurant. The staff were friendly and they were able to assist with everything we needed. No complimentary bread was offered like traditional Italian restaurants. The appetizer of spicy kale sausage lacked balance as it was too spicy without any accompanying carbs to mitigate the heat. Although I appreciated the presence of a kids' menu, the kids' pizza was overpriced at $16. Based on other kids' menus I've seen, I would expect the price range to be between $8 and $12. However, the portion of clam pasta was generous, which my kids and I enjoyed. Unfortunately, a glass cup ended up breaking, but I appreciate that the staff promptly replaced it with a plastic cup to all the kids. The offering of crayons and coloring sheets for the kids was a nice touch that they were excited about. The ambiance had a standard noise level. I also appreciated that the staff split a dish for my two kids without having to be asked. Overall, I had a positive experience and received my order shortly after. I would consider returning.

It is always a pleasure to dine and give business to Sorella - whether it be enjoying a good meal inside the restaurant or via takeout. The food is exceptionally yummy, and the interior atmosphere is quaint and relaxing. But most importantly, the staff and owner are incredibly personable, caring, and considerate of their customers. Over the past few years, every experience I've had with them has been highly positive. They never disappoint in providing high-quality service and have even gone above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. One instance of their compassion and devotion to customer service was shown when my company needed to have a large, last-minute order fulfilled for a C-suite level meeting. Not only did Sorella quickly accommodate our needs, but they did it with humor and hospitality. The manager even offered me a beverage while I waited for the order to be prepared, then helped me take the large order by walking with me across the street to my office building and floor where our meeting took place. He even took time to help set the food out before leaving. Since then, my company has hosted a few business meals at the restaurant and ordered takeout multiple times. Every interaction and experience continues to be delightful and never disappoints! We enjoy every morsel of delicious food served and beyond happy with everything this incredible Hartford gem offers.
