Not sure what problems the last reviewer had, but clearly he hasn't been there since new mgmt. took over in 2019. I've had numerous events at the club, and the staff has been nothing but wonderful. Great food, attentive service...every detail covered. And indoor to boot! Great place to have a membership!

I'm a professional musician that has at least 30 years of experience with providing music for private functions. I had an event booked at The Hartford Club (hired by the THC) and I received a call the day of the event cancelling saying that they double-booked music for the event. I understand that these things happen but you can't cancel the day of the event and not expect to pay the musicians. They kept telling me that they sent a check but after a couple of months of going back and forth I stopped calling as they were not taking my call anymore. Sad that a place like this can be ran so poorly and unprofessionally.I sent the original invoice to the email you provided. Haven't heard back from anyone yet.

Terrific location in the heart of the plaza for downtown City of Hartford. Very historic and beautiful facility. Tons of nearby parking available.

I was recently here for a Birthday party. I love the fact we were able to park in the underground garage. It was a bit of a walk to the front door of the club, but I knew my car was safe. You can tell from the moment you walk in, the building has been here for a long time. It’s in good condition considering the age. Once the nostalgia wore off, it was disappointing. Some of the employees were amazing. A few were ill prepared and had bad attitudes. The food was adequate at best. There were roasted potatoes which had no flavor, roast beef which also had no flavor, and Chicken Francese which was OK.

Classic atmosphere, wonderful staff. Perfect for intimate formal/semi formal gatherings 50-75 people. Would recommend for parties, awards ceremonies, etc.
