This place has some of the best bbq in the state. Period.It's a little hole in the wall tucked into a food hall, but they're turning out some crazy awesome food.Everything I've ever had here has been amazing, the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, all of the sides.They're cornbread is the best I've ever had.
The absolute best. I would normally list my favorite things on a menu but you just can't miss at The Portly Pig. Plus, and maybe the best part, is the whole crew and staff are just good people. Highly recommend for someone looking for a real BBQ fix in CT.

Their ability to cater an event is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. They catered my wedding two weeks ago and everyone absolutely loved the food. They came on time, the food was hot and fresh, and their service and professionalism was top notch. I’m going to use them two more times next year for events I’m doing.
