While it is sad to see that only memories will live on for many patronizing this business soon, there is hope there may be an another Chowder Pot.Food wise, nothing was lukewarm but they're alright.

Went after some shopping, so we were ready to eat. Although it took nearly 1/2 hour to get our food, our drinks and yummy warm bread with a honey butter glaze. I had the seafood salad (scoop of crab, 2jumbo shrimp, and a good amount of lobster served over a fresh bed of greens. My dh got the crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries, which he enjoyed. I hope the restaurant reopens in a new spot ~ the food is worth their prices. The service was spot on, friendly and came around just enough.

The atmosphere of the restaurant hasn't changed in years and it is kind of dingy and even the ladies rest room needs to be updated BUT aside from this I have always loved their NY Strip Steak. Looks a bid smaller but perhaps that is just me. It is delicious. You have 3 ways to have it prepared plus 2 sides and their signature bread. Portions are plenty and I have left overs for a complete meal which makes me very happy as I get to enjoy my meal all over again. If you haven't been here I suggest that you give it a try. Prices are comparable to other restaurants that serve good seafood and steaks.

10 minutes after being seat for the server to come to table. 22 minutes to get a glass of wine and a margarita. I inquired about the glass of Merlot that I ordered and the bartender was extremely aggressive Salad came out with our entrees. I order a prime rib cook medium and it was very undercooked with an odd smell. It was an awful dining experience for $120. Never ever again

Started at the bar. Good selection of alcohols. Ended up with 8 at a table for dinner.Service was impeccable. Food was in time. Clams were fresh and the lobster delicious. Zero dissapointment in the food, it was great all the way around. For a large party, they handled us well. Always impressive when a single person keeps up.Well done USS Chowder.

Made reservations through Resy on the Chowder Pot site for a Friday night dinner for 4. We were seated quickly, our waitress was super attentive and offered many suggestions. Food was on point, large plate of whole belly clams was cooked perfectly, same with seafood platter and lazy man lobster. Staff stopped by our table multiple times to check on us and bring refills without asking. For a busy night we felt very attended to. Will go back with family.

Greeted by two very hospitable hostesses upon entering then friendly waitress in the bar area. Clam chowder was excellent and crab cake sandwich was very tasty! Will definitely return!

Great complimentary warm bread. Stuffed Jumbo shrimps, the lobster roll were very good. The sides that came with them were delicious as well. Friendly start and service. The decor is very nice, great theme and you can see the tank where the live lobsters will have their days numbered.

The hostess was the only nice one in there. Very rude people and terrible bland food. Will never ever return. Don’t waste your time and money.

This has to be the worst service and food quality I have ever seen. Say at the bar on a Tuesday nite with 5 other people and it took over and hour 30 min to get our food which came out wrong. Drink never showed up. Only when the manger showed up did we get 2 drinks in the last 90 minutes. If I were you don't eat here. Horrible !!!!

Food was good, not earth shattering. Service was great. Food was VERY VERY slow. Granted, restaurant was busy, but it was still exceptionally too long.

We had issues with our online reservation as did a party that came in behind us. They said it would then be a 30 minute wait. It turned into 45 and then they said they event sure. We started to leave and they fi ally got a table cleared. The food was boring at best. Not one of us enjoyed our plate or finished. The service was also not good.

I got here, and the hostess seated me immediately. Friendly, courteous. Then my waitress: Awesome! Attentive, professional, fun! Pleasant patrons thronged the area with cooing babies, chatty geriatrics, and hip and trendy 30-somethings. Overall, a nice experience. Now, on to the food. Lobster bisque loaded with leg meat. Delicious, hot, fresh, and not boozy. You bisque people know what I mean. Some places can be heavy-handed with the sherry, and not quite cook it out. Here, they got it right. A steamed chick lobster arrived, and boy! Was it sweet! I picked it down to nothing. Really good. Two tasty baked potatoes rounded out my meal, and I left a happy camper without too much damage to my wallet. I'll definitely be back. You should give them a try.

No more twin tails lobster rolls? Single is the only selection on the menu now ...too bad. Still tasty but loved twin tail lobster rolls for lunch. Good reason to skip dinner.
