First time ordering from here. Didn't really expect much but wow. The fried rice was simple but had that toasted flavor. The coconut chicken was so very crunchy and flavorful without being too sweet. The egg foo young was soft and fluffy and not salty as my usual experience and the crab Rangoon looks lack luster but the flavor was amazingly delicious. Highly recommend. The location is unappealing but the food makes up for it! Oh and the delivery guy called to let me know he was here and was so nice.

I dont why people hate this place so much complaints about the food is not even that bad never had a bad experience only thing is if you dine in the tables are a bit dirty, which they should clean more. It’s mostly the bottom because people keep putting gum there which I would not blame the employees for I . You just need to talk to the right person. The main guy has a thick accent, but he could still understand him which I don’t know why people say they can’t understand him. There this one time where he got the drink wrong the delivery driver

If you are new to the area, first impressions are just about everything (as they say) and though the location might not look to be in the BEST of areas, I will say that this Chinese Food spot is definitely one of the better looking and cleaner, than my previous visits to Chinese Hood Spots. Though it could use some attention to the rotted ceiling tiles and even a nice once over with a mop and some cleaning rags, it is still up to date with air purifiers and mechanical systems than the make-shift red light specials I have seen over these last few months. I placed an order for their Four Seasons which included, "Beef, Pork, Shrimp, Chicken and Mixed Vegetables" this was cooked in oyster sauce and so their Beef came off tart in flavor. It had some extra chew with slight toughness but nothing impossible to break through. I still could not shake the after taste of, "Why are you part of the Four Seasons?" next time just add duck instead. It was as if the beef was stale and flavored with hatred and anxiety for everything beef and or beef like but I digress. I moved on to the chicken and that was very tender and tasty! The oyster sauce was a mere complement here and I was looking forward to the next piece. Chopped up and scattered throughout this dish, there were a few bites worth savoring here but in my eyes, simply not enough. Now I took a bite of the shrimp. Waste not, want not and I did not want a single piece more but then again, I didn't even see another piece and for that, I was thankful. This shrimp was just bad all around....frozen shrimp that had a taste of being frozen for too long to even appreciate whatever it could had been at a time. Just go on ahead and remove this option from the menu to be fair. The pork was good! Tender, just like the Chicken and a nice overall flavor and chew. I found two pieces worth discussing here. Maybe next time, I just replace the shrimp and beef with more pork and more chicken!!! Finally, the broccoli was even good. Steamed and Grilled Veggies for the win here and in a light oyster sauce that doesn't leave slime sludge everywhere, just makes your tastebuds sing with glee!! Or at least, mine did.

I can't trust and I'm in disgust. I wasn't awarded a refund nor replacement food after finding a maggot and pork in my veggies fried rice. Not to mention, it was a Friday and I found it on a Sunday and they were closed. And they offered no accomodation at all. I will stop going after years of successful eats. I'm done.

Hartford Courant reports this place failing twice in a 3 month period for unsafe conditions, vermin, and bugs. Their article is free and you can read the fine details there.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I ordered Chinese food for my husband and I and not even a hour after we ate the food we both began to feel extremely sick. 20 minutes after we began to feel sick we both began to throw up. We still feel horrible and we’re both in pain. The food was also very greasy. Greasier than most Chinese food I’ve gotten before but we were not going to waste $25. Please save your stomach the trouble and do not eat from here.
