“This place is incredible, I tried three different dishes for my first visit and was really impressed by each one! I would recommend this to anyone, vegan or not!I had some delicious Cajun oyster mushrooms, with a killer remoulade, Buffalo cauliflower, and a special, vegan biscuits and faux sausage gravy.So all in all, this was the absolute most amazing vegan gravy I have had, the just eggs were perfect, scrambled, biscuits made me close my eyes for a moment.The gravy was excellent, little bits of breakfast sausagey bits floating around over crunchy perfect biscuits.I wish it was closer to my house !! I'd be there every day trying the rest of the menu, which looks amazing btw, I have to go back and leave with takeout next time???“

“Wow! Wow! Wow! This is like a hidden gem! I finally got around to getting my mom from FL to join me at Yia Yias for dinner. I wanted to go the last time she was here, but circumstances had other plans. It was our very first visit tonight, and it will not be put last. I think it may be a new tradition when she comes for visits! We both had the Yia Yias Chips (fried zucchini & fried eggplant) ? that were so delightful with the taziki sauce followed by Chicken Souvlaki(Char grilled skewers served with tomato, red onion, lettuce, tzatziki, in pita bread with fries) and substituted the fries with Brussel Sprouts ? chefs kiss. It made our evening. The waitress was also fun and charming. We took our leftovers to go and will be back another day ?“

“By far the best coffee in Torrington! They make it just the way you ask, with a color chart for the amount of cream too. The mocha coffee is amazing. Prices are competitive and the ladies there are so friendly with quick service. I'll skip Starbucks any day for this local coffee place.“

“This quaint restaurant sits in beautiful Collinsville along side the Farmington river. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend an order of waffle fries with whatever great sandwich you chose to get. Try a slice of pizza too, it is one of the best in the area. Great beer and wine list. Outdoor patio is dog friendly. It is also a mission driven eatery owned by a non profit organization. Every dollar spent goes into programs that employee persons with disabilities. “Oh my god. The food is so good. The parking is horrible however the food more than makes up for it. We had trouble getting here since they opened but finally could and I'm so mad we waited to come here so long. Being vegetarian it's hard to find good food that isn't boring. Problem forever solved here. Husband and I both got the vegetable Pad See Ew. It's amazing. I couldn't stop eating it and pretty much inhaled the food it's that good. The portions are generous and even with as much as I ate I slowed down and had to bring some home. As for the restaurant itself, at the time we went it's very sensory friendly for autistic people like me. The music is nice and muted. The colors are dark and comfortable. The chairs are comfy. The lighting it dim and warm. No real sounds from the kitchen. Of course we went and were the only people there because we eat early, but it was perfect for me and for us in general. Definitely will be back. So many good things to try!“

“Bakery On Maple is a fantastic gem located near Federal Hill. Their baked goods are without a doubt some of the best we've had. Their cinnamon rolls might be the best example of "max" cinnamon taste without being overpowered, their croissants are so light & flakey, the gingerbread bar while thick, was very soft to bite into & had such rich flavor - we loved the chocolate cupcake (fantastic chocolate cream!) and their macarons are simply delicious - probably my wife's favorite but so close. Cannot wait to go back and try more of their baked goods soon!“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“

“Always good here! So many flavors to try. My favorite is getting a sundae with hot fudge and hot peanut butter sauce. The Almond Joy ice cream is delicious and so is the Raspberry chocolate mousse! Nom nom nom. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.“

“First time ever trying the food at this establishment and I must say it was very good! So nice to find a place that makes fresh yummy Cafe food for breakfast or lunch! Beats fast food any day. We waited patiently as they were busy during the lunch hour and did not mind. Someone else was not patient and was quite rude to the staff but they handled it well and due to me apologizing on this person's behalf, they were kind enough to offer me their food as it was given back.
