“Went Saturday night to get nachos, I really enjoyed them. Lots of pulled pork, which was very good. You get way too much for two people. I wish they made a half portion. I also really enjoy their chief salad. I have to have garlic ranch dressing.”
““Sodelicious Food Truck” the Best in Frappe Fruit Drinks & Acai,???with excellent service I recommend them to stop by!!!, located in the marina of Downtown Norwich ”
“La neta, estos tacos rifan!I stopped here for dinner last night. It was not what I expected but there was something comforting about it. It transported me to my childhood and going to neighborhood food spots that were unassuming. The food was incredible!”
“Delicious food with a decent sized menu. We loved the 1/2 chicken, veggie rice and the empanadas. We finished with one of the best tasting flans I have had. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. They were will to answer any questions we had and explain the dishes.”
“Great food and drink! A wonderful addition to the Willimantic downtown area. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Nice ambience. Only critique - seating is not very comfortable. Barstools don’t make you want to sit and order a second drink, nor do the seats at tables. Hopefully they will invest in better seating as they get established.”
“Some boutique business owners think their way of doing things are the best. Even when given constructive criticism, they don't budge... not even... we will look into it... and never do...you don't have to but acknowledging that possibly the input provided was worthy of investigation is probably the right thing..not self righteous talking over the person calling in and basically not listening or even pretending to listen. Some of your clients may not be complaining but would if they thought they could. Offering money back is nice...good job there. Everything else I ever purchased there was very good. I expect that 1 dessert type item at restaurant prices would be delicious...not dry, tasteless, and nothing like the name it was sold as...call it a dry bread roll with a sprinkling of cinnamon and icing to make it edible ... your comment that 1 other person complained that it wasn't like "Cinnabon" just shows your sense of superiority. I never expected it to be like that product, I expected it to be better.”
“Me and my boyfriend have tried a couple sandwiches, a couple pizzas. Everything was so delicious every time. And we've been there enough times to say they are very consistently amazing. I especially love their Turkinator! You know what, I'm gonna go get one for dinner”
“This food is amazing! I'm blown away, it's like the aurora borealis of food. I got the queso birria and a horchata to drink. Everything was outstanding. Thank you so much! I can only imagine the amount of care that goes into making these meals”
“What a hidden gem! Place was fairly busy. The food was fresh and the ambience was amazing. Ended up splitting a bunch of different plates, seems like the place where you can’t go wrong with anything. As a local, will be back.”
“Louise and I set out to run some errands in Willi and then get some fast food, but as we approached those familiar arches the sense of impending dread in our souls welled up like an overflowing sewer. "Let's drive down Main Street and see what's open," my wife chimed, so off we went. A few minutes later we quickly spotted Pho Delight, circled around to park, and headed on in. The friendly staff greeted and seated up immediately. Their dining room and bar areas were tidy and comfortable with about a dozen tables, and they were doing a pretty decent business for a cold and rainy Wednesday night. The menu had a familiar mix of Thai dishes, along with a section of soups and various kinds of pho. We decided to keep things familiar for a first visit, ordering appetizers of spring rolls and coconut shrimp, and for entrees a bowl of beef pho and yellow chicken curry, all to share. The appetizers came out quickly and piping hot straight from the fryer. Spring rolls were crunchy with a fresh veggie filling, accompanied by the usual sweet-and-fishy dipping sauce. Coconut shrimp really smelled and tasted like fresh coconut and were also perfectly cooked with a clean shrimpiness; their dipping sauce was a sriracha-infused mayo. The pho was a generous bowl of broth, noodles, scallions, cilantro, and beef slices, with the customary accompaniments of basil, bean sprouts, sliced hot peppers, and a lime wedge. The yellow curry was a rich coconut-milk based sauce swimming with slices of chicken, onions, carrots, and potatoes, along with a side of jasmine rice. Both entrees were simply terrific, executed and seasoned perfectly with a clean, clear mouth feel. Chatting with our server we learned that the restaurant had been here for a few years, but very recently was sold to a new owner who redecorated the dining room and redesigned the menu. That owner, a young man named Sitta, introduced himself and told us of his upbringing in southern Thailand and subsequent graduate studies in China (he speaks English well, along with Mandarin and his native Thai). When I mentioned that it seemed out of place for a Thai restaurant to serve pho, he reassured us that pho is common street food in Thailand, and that their Thai version is generally simpler and has fewer ingredients than Vietnamese pho. I guess you learn something new every day -- in any case, the pho here is delicious and can compete with any similar soup I've ever had. All in all a great experience and we're going to have to dine here again and explore the menu more deeply. Highly recommended... I just hope that success doesn't overwhelm and spoil this little gem.”
“If you’re looking for an adorable step outside of fast food coffee this is THE GEM OF ALL GEMS! Wicked Southern Coffee always has rotating specials to help you try something new! (Non caffeinated/coffee free options too!) Since I am more adventurous than my fiancé we always get the best of both worlds. If you don’t see something that matches your flavor palette the owner keeps a vault of specialty flavors and recipes that will most definitely wow you. If you happen to stop by during slower periods make sure you chat with the owner how Wicked Southern Coffee got started! Talk about an inspiring story. We could not be MORE impressed.”
“Great smoothie options! I have been coming here for over two years now. I always love to try their seasonal menu options. They have a walk up window or you can go inside the shop. You can order a head on their app. They have a punch card that will give you a free smoothie with ten punches.”
“This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had a meatball grinder and a pepperoni pizza. The grinder was nicely done with lots of flavor and fully loaded. The pizza was also very nicely done. Nice crust, good sauce, good pepperoni. The two ladies working were upbeat and positive and simply added to the experience. On a scale from 0-10, I would rate this 8.1.”
“Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! Highly recommended if you want to be happy that you spent your money on a meal. The food was made with fresh ingredients and you can taste it in every bite. We are not from the area but we are so grateful that we found Jojos’s Breakfast.”
“Excellent breakfast and brunch place. It is small, but it makes sense for a local spot in a small town.I've eaten here several times now and I am yet to be dissapointed. This time I had the French Toast special ? french toast was moist, stuffed with apples and topped with whipped cream and spinkled with cinnamon. Got a side of bacon to offset the sweetness of the french toast. It was the perfect breakfasts. My friends had Western omelets that are their go to here for breakfast”
“A bar with a large and high-quality beer selection, and absolutely excellent performances. There is no food, but you can bring restaurants nearby and that's perfectly fine.”
“Can’t get home fast enough to eat it! Everything we’ve tried has been amazing! Best bet is to go straight there because the phone is usually busy! Super nice folks!”
“Oz n Bones deserves 5 stars across the board for what it does so well, but on one level it did not meet my expectation, and that's because they do everything so well, let me explain. We went on a Saturday night and had never been there before. When dining on a weekend, we like to experience a dining experience in which we can linger and enjoy an entire dining event, lasting an hour or two. But the system here is so well orchestrated, you are in and out in the blink of an eye, which is a tribute to the operation, but does not make for a Saturday night date night.Upon entering I was surprised to see that it's set up like a fast food operation, order at the counter and head to your seat, and on the way stop and meet their friendly bartender and grab your drink, no appetizers are available. We did that, and by the time we got our drink quickly, and arrived at a table, our meal was waiting for us. So, no time for dinner conversation while we enjoyed our drink. No sense letting the food get cold, so we dig in, drink our adult beverages while we eat, and we're done in about 30 minutes, very efficient. The food is fabulous, the staff is amazing, the service is efficient, and the setting is beautiful. Will I go back again and recommend it for what it is, absolutely. But, not on a weekend when I seek a nice full dining experience, if we were meeting another couple, we would have no time for conversation. It is reasonably priced, but as we did spend about $80 for 2 meals with one drink each, and were out of there in 30 minutes. For that amount we could go to another restaurant for a more traditional weekend dining experience, and not have to clear our own table when done.I love this place, and look forward to going back when I am looking for a quick bite to eat.”
“This is our go- to pizza, it is the best! But what is awesome is that all their food, burgers, roast beef sandwiches, dinners, specials and catering are fabulous! So many options, and the family and service are amazing. Right next to DMV with the retro neon green arrow!”
“Best place to eat in the Norwich/montville area. Family owned and extremely friendly. Treats all guests like they have been friends for years. Food is always amazing. Highly recommend.”
“I ordered a dish on the evening special menu, Amatriciana. It was, hands down, the BEST pasta dish I have had in ages! I cook good pasta at home, I am hard to impress in this area, absolutely phenomenal meal, thank you!”
“Small pastry shop, but amazing quality. I've been coming here for a while since my uncle turned us on to this place and the pastries are always fresh and consistent plus the stuffed bread is top tier. I'd stop by early and often if you're in the area!Parking: It's a small lot next to the building”
“Great casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and huge portions. Neither of us could finish our meals which were delicious. Definitely worth the forty minute drive, we will be back!”
“An absolute gem in Norwich. Their Goat Saag and Goat Jal Frazee are my go to favorites and should be advertised on realtor websites as reasons to move to this town. Not really a sit down place but if you want, there are tables and they make it work. All around fantastic restaurant!!!”
“There’s not a lot of Boba café is out there, but I am very excited to have tried this location! This was an absolutely stunning building to see. It was almost like a pink gem in the middle of a very busy city. The Boba was perfect and I loved energy of the two women behind the counter. Very nice and cozy environment!”
“The food and service were great. The Fenton burger is an A+! Nice spectrum of beer choices, not like the places with 10 IPA's and a couple others. Looking forward to returning for a second visit.”
“This is a very solid chinese spot. Personally I think they're the best in the area. The lunch special is super affordable and it comes with a free soda. I usually get the general tso and it's so good and flavorful. Nothing is too greasy and it hits the spot. I recommend!”
“Unbelievably fantastic beer and dining. They have the best grilled oysters in New England. Pair it up with Effed Up On Pilz and you will be in Heaven. They even have Effed Up On Pilz shirts that are a one of a kind. You have to check it out.”
“Great little coffee shop in the downtown area with a really big menu of coffee drinks and a lot of flavors to add. They even do fun daily whipped cream flavors!Only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish they'd integrate a reward system into their PoS instead of relying on punch cards they keep running out of. I know for a fact it's not really that hard to do.Regardless, I would definitely recommend.”

“The Friday night bartender is amazing! We love the location and the pool tables. There is always a great selection of beer & ciders. The only complaint is that the music is always too loud here...”
