Delicious food in an elegant atmosphere with attentive staff. The menu is Italian with a wide variety of appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, main courses, and desserts.

A decadent restaurant that does not fall short in any of the categories. The food stimulates the palet and transcends you to another world. The sauce reminded me of being back in grandma's kitchen, who was born and raised in Italy. The atmosphere and price point deserves higher admiration then a mere 5 stars. I have never recommended a restaurant as highly as I do for Cafe Allegre, but don't just take my word for it, prove me wrong.

The restaurant is very cozy and nice inside. The staff is exceptional, and very professional, The bar drinks are fantastic. We were there last summer and the food was excellent. I don't know whether they have a new chef or if something else was going on, but when we were there on February 18, 2024, the food was not good at all. We went there to celebrate our 41st anniversary. Thought it would be a restaurant that we could go to on our anniversary every year. A special place... The food was awful! I had the French onion soup, which is my favorite. The soup was tasteless, I had to add salt to the soup to give it some flavor. My husband had the minestrone soup which he said was good. For an entrée my husband had the rigatoni Bolognese. He said the sauce was good, but the more he ate, the spicier it tasted. I had the steak with sautéed onions, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The mashed potatoes and green beans were great! The steak and sautéed onions were tasteless. It seemed as though there were no seasoning at all on them. The best part of the meal was the, Keylime martini and the chocolate gelato. We won't be going back unless the food changes...

Fabulous service and atmosphere. Beets in salad were undercooked and salad was so-so. Salmon entree was delicious and very generous.

Food is excellent; servers are pleasant, friendly and efficient; they know the specials to detail and don't rush you. You can relax without guilt. Can get a bit noisy by the bar, but...to be expected if you're near it! Comfortable atmosphere.

What a beautiful restaurant! We arrived just when they opened on a Saturday evening. I had to walk around to explore the many different dining areas. There is one table in front of a fireplace that I thought looked very romantic. Our waiter, Bill, provided impeccable service. He was attentive and friendly and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable (I was wearing a walking boot due to an ankle injury.) The chairs in the dining room were comfortable and had a nice cushion. The tables were set with a crisp tablecloth, and there seemed to be an endless supply of warm bread on our table. We tried several appetizers, including the stuffed mushrooms and clams casino. I had the halibut for dinner and shared the Lava cake. All were exquisitely prepared and delicious. Looking forward to coming back to Cafe Allegra.

Honestly don’t see the hype with this place. Went here a few nights after Christmas with family. We were told by so many people that this is the best in town and in my opinion it was just eh. Felt like we waited forever for the food. Bread was crumbly and fell apart. Calamari was good. When we finally got our dinner the chicken parm was good. One of us got filet mignon bordelaise- asked for it medium rare and it got it well done. The place was clean and nicely decorated. Street parking and parking lot in the back.

I went to dinner and ordered a “surf and turf”. It was a special. Food was really good, but…. I got the bill and it was $59.99 for my plate. Are you crazy? Small lobster tail and maybe 4 oz of steak. I think you better rethink your pricing…. I couldn’t believe it

Great food and service! Super friendly staff and the building is always really clean. I’ve always enjoyed the food here. Large portions and reasonable prices.
