The wait just to receive water took a bit while the waiter was texting behind the counter. The smell as soon as you walk in was like a bathroom which we assumed the bathroom must have been by the door and chose to give the place a shot based on other reviews. While we were finishing we noticed the smell came whenever the cooks opened the deep freezer so that is clearly the problem. Hopefully we dont get food poisoning. The order was wrong on two occasions first with the bubble tea and then on the milk tea tasting off. We ordered four pork belly bao buns which were two per order for a group of four. We received six. The saving grace from one star was the garlic pork dumplings which were ok. Would not eat here again, hopefully they can figure this out because most reviews had been good for them.

Food is just okay, ordered dimsum platter and noodles. Their noodles is like ramen noodles with beef soup. No pets allowed either.

Awesome vegan steamed buns! I wish that I had a steamed near where I live.Maybe offer a plain/empty bun or tofu only version for people like my wife who was not a fan.

Bubble tea was the only thing that was good. Dumplings were not good and the sticky rice was not edible.

I've been working in Madison for the Sunmer, and had an opportunity to try this place out. We did take-out, and I was pleasantly surprised. Going in with not so high expectations, only because I've eaten truly amazing dim sum back home in Hawaii. I have to say that what we purchased on this trip was pretty good! My favorite so far, is the Chengdu dumplings. The sauce is so flavorful! The cold noodles were also a favorite. On this second visit, we decided to brave the weather, and dine in. The place was packed, unfortunately (for us). We were starved, so we decided to take it back to the cabin. Again, we ordered the same items on the fly. Same wonderful flavors, and each different dumplings had their own distinct flavors, which makes me question other reviews about everything tasting the same. The staff is friendly. It looked like only 1 server was on, but she was gracious despite being super busy. I have 2 more weeks in Madison, and hopefully we'll be able to dine in at some point.

Neither authentic nor tasty. Ordered 3 items and felt sooo disappointed after tasting them all. All of them are way below average. Not sure how this place can survive. The worst part was the terribly rude Asian lady who worked there, no greeting, no thank you, no proper interaction with customers. While the other wait staff were friendly and normal, she treated me like I was her unwanted step-daughter or a street begger. At first, I thought it might be a misjudge on my part, but after interacting with her a couple more times, it became clear that she was a horrible restaurant staff member, or a racist. Frankly, I've never been treated this badly in a restaurant or any business.

Food is good; smaller portions but reasonably priced. Don't come here for dine in if you're already hungry. As the only table we ordered and watched maybe 50 take out orders get made while we waited for an excessive amount of time. It will be a while before I choose to get dinner here again.

Great little dumpling place! I'm gluten free and they had a dumpling option for me with shrimp! I wish there could also be a vegetable dumpling filling too but I was happy. Fast service too

Excellent dumplings especially chengdu... couldn't stop eating them!. Pork belly bau were so tasty especially with the chili sauce on the table. Soup dumplings were my son's favorite. Service wonderful! Can't wait to go back! Quiet place and beautiful chairs!

Our food was excellent! My husband and I went for lunch on a Saturday. Service was awkward in the sense that our waiter projected the "last thing I want to do right now" vibe. We ordered the larger assortment dumplings thinking we'd both eat all of them but they were bigger than expected. Quality was on par with great steamed dumplings. So cool to see the way they're brought out in a tower of 'steamed' compartments. I'd go back even knowing service isn't going to be five-star because dumplings were so great.
