Very bland food. Salsa was watered down. Most weird salsa ever. Food was low on flavor. Beautiful location and ambience but it's the food that matters.

I’m from California and this is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve had in the entire east coast including NYC, and Washington DC. It’s better than most California Mexican restaurants. Even in CA tamales at restaurants aren’t that great but I loved the chicken one I had here. My husband and I ordered so many different items and they were all so incredibly delicious! Amazing food across the board

An extensive menu. A welcoming staff, a great place to enjoy some wonderful Mexican cuisine! I tend to judge a restaurant by its Mole sauce. The Mole Poblano was excellent!Kid-friendliness: Low key atmosphere great for families.Parking: Plenty of on the street parking.

We came on a somewhat busy Saturday. The location itself is small. It uses the space well, but for weekends, takeout might be the better option.Most small items like sopes and tacos are single order items that you can add sides to. There are combo plates of authentic Mexican staples to choose from, as well as the usual suspects (burritos, fajitas, etc)The tostada's, enchiladas and burritos are all solid picks. The soups and nachos look great, we just didn't get to try them.The location is a little cramped, which is where I dinged the atmosphere. You're kind of on top of each other.

Simply delicious food in a casual atmosphere. Genuine Mexican. Nothing like it in the area. Have eaten the gordita, the tamales and the pozole. All excellent. It is so enjoyable to find a gem in such an unassuming spot. Bravo!!!

The woman who served me (take out) was very nice and the food was made quickly and tasted delicious. I ordered the taco combo 2 with Carne asada tacos

I eat Mexican food somewhere different at least once a week, and this restaurant was by far the BEST I have had. Food was amazingly authentic, not at all greasy. Server was knowledgeable and engaging. Will definitely return SOON!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options.

We were greeted within minutes of walking in. The waitstaff was friendly and polite. From order to table no more the 15 minutes. Very nice surprise seeing how the were busy. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Plenty to eat. Left fulfilled.
