HORRIBLE online ordering experience and decent but salty food! Ordered ahead online so that I can make up for my long drive time. This order was confurmed by the restaurant. But after reaching there 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time, I was told that the 'system' had a glitch and the order came in only 15 minutes before. They said another 20-30 minutes and I agreed. Meanwhile, I was witnessing multiple other parties coming in, complaining about the delay but eventually getting their order and I was still waiting. My order was finally ready almost 1.5 hours after my original pick-up time. And add my drive time to it, we had a pretty late dinner today! Server was apologetic but no other attempts to make-up for the wasted time.About the food, Charminar Dum Ka Moorg was excellent - really rich, creamy and flavorful. Paradise Chicken Fry and Goat Biryani were good but both were really high on salt. Chicken Biryani rice was ok but chicken pieces were kind of odd - it had regular chicken pieces and some batter fried chicken pieces which were for sure not part of original biryani. This was as well high on salt. Portion sizes and meat content were good. Gobi Manchurian was so sour and wasn't edible; we had to trash it.In short:1. Do not trust the online ordering, better to call ahead. Menufy (their current online order partner) customer service is also useless.2. Account for delays when you order ahead or dine-in.3. Literally empty restaurant, so don't think dine-in is a pleasurable experience.4. Watch out salt content.

This place is okay. To be clear, I have always really liked the food, though I do not order meat, so I've never experienced anything overcooked or undercooked as dishes like saag paneer don't really have that problem. The food is very flavourful and a good price. However, the experience of dining inside is very, very sad. It feels like I'm having lunch inside of a workplace break room for employees - it's very much of an afterthought. If you do decide to order for pickup, the soonest my food was ready was 45 minutes and usually takes about an hour. I've even ordered on a Wednesday afternoon around 4pm to see if they were busy. They were not busy, it still took that long. The service here is... okay? It's actually fine. The wait time and quality standards are the main concern. I still order there occasionally, but only once in a while. The food is good, but they need several more employees, better service, a COMPLETELY remodeled interior, and faster preparation times, as fast as 15-25 minutes on average but 40-45 minutes for Friday/Saturday dinner time.45 minutes as a 'minimum' wait time for one dish for one person is honestly a lot. I have waited an hour for dine-in more than once as their only dine-in customer before. I have not experienced these 90min to 2hr wait times that other reviews mention, but I imagine if you're ordering for a family of four or more for takeaway that that is very likely.I still recommend trying them, as the food is good, but there are other options in the area. If you own a car, Utsav, Godavari, Dhaba Whala, and Kumar's are all within a 15-min drive and their takeaway orders are no more than 30-35 minutes even on a Friday or Saturday night.

The very worst experience… we had to wait 45 minutes after placing the order to get just one order of goat biriyani… and it came with goat pieces completely uncooked. We got a discount of 20 percent but still we had to pay $25 for this.. please do not take order if you guys can’t be responsible… Hell waste of time..

If you like to kill time and hunger I believe this restaurant is for you. Pathetic service for DINE IN and believe me pathetic is me being generous. The owner only cares about online orders. Looks like they have taken over this restaurant from someone else and showed them how to fail miserably. We were neither given water. We volunteered to get our can of soda from the fridge beside the billing counter. (We had an infant and a diabetic with us) I think they need to take a class on managing a restaurant for a few years and maybe after 5 years down the line think about starting this restaurant. We were only served after we asked for our order that took an hour. Apart from bad management, they have dementia too.The food was cold from inside. I don't know why did they took so long just to serve re-heated food. Still no water. We left after appetizers were served. Paid for what we had. Spoke with the restaurant owner. He was not even apologetic.I wouldn't wish this on my enemyYou are better off going to the Asian grill beside it.

Lady in the front desk was did best to manage in house dining along with the order to take out. Was friendly in explaining the items as well. Ordered fired rice and it was amazing with the portions as well the taste. It was filled was chicken and other flavors which yummy. Chicken curry had right amount spice and flavor. They could improve the interior of the space yet will definitely come again to try other items

We ordered hydrabadi goat biryani as a take out - a bucket plus one plate. The biryani did not taste like a biryani, it had no flavours but most disappointing was the number of mutton pieces. The bucket had 3-4 less than 1 inch size mutton pieces and those too hard and fibrous. Absolutely the worst biryani we have ever had! And at that price it was a total rip off.

The mutton biryani had no taste and had only two very small mutton pieces in it. All in all it was a bad experience, nothing to write home about! Very dissapointing!

We were just passing through (we hail from NJ and there's some supremely good Indian food there). The place is unassuming and simple, more of a takeout spot, but we sat down. Food was solidly good, with highlights being Andhra fish curry, samosa chaat, and mango lassi for dessert. We finished everything with no leftovers. Spicy, filling, and delicious!

Ordered for the first time today, best Indian food I’ve ever had! Packed with flavor and spice! Customer service was amazing as well. Definitely recommend!

The worst goat biriyani I had in my entire life. Very low quantity and quality is the worst with broken rice.Changing my review for the effort they have put to make things right but, the taste is not so great.

Wow! Our friends suggested this joint to us as the best biriyani place in the area. My wife is from Bangladesh and I am from Kolkata and we are very protective about our biriyani and they had to meet lofty standards. It is safe to say we were blown away. The biriyani is very close to the biriyani in Kolkata. Light, flavorful, subtle, and not over the top flavors. The Chennai Chicken 65 was really well made too! Many of us search for Kolkata-style biriyani in USA, and while the latter is mostly elusive, this is the closest you will get to that taste anywhere in USA.

I must start by saying their customer service is impeccable! The waitress who greeted me had the most pleasant smile when dealing with me and it was so warm and welcoming. Their naan is buttery, flaky, and perfect, the samosas are prepared fresh and are perfectly crispy with an equally good filling. Their ride is good as well, fluffy and does the trick. The only thing o took issue with was that I asked for really spicy butter chicken and it was not spicy enough (maybe a mild?) and I really didn't enjoy the chicken as much as I would have liked. Their mango lassi is honestly one of the best I have had. Good spot. I will be going back and trying other dishes that are not the butter chicken. Really great !

Briyani is excellent during Friday and weekends. Weekdays quality and taste is not same. Do not try any starters other than chicken 65. Do not try any sea food. Few of the chicken curry variety is edible. Indian bread is good. They make really good briyani among other restaurants. After trying most of their menu nowadays I only order mutton/goat/chicken briyani, chicken curry and naan. There is nothing called ambience there, you will have only a dining hall with chair and table, most times it is too chill during winter. I only go there to eat their briyani during weekends.
