I’ve come to blaze 4-5 times in the past couple months, and every time they have told me their husky bucks machine is broken. Which I think is code word for “I don’t want to get the iPad” they need to stop partnering with UConns one card system if they’re never going to accept the currency we pre-paid for. It’s not a quick trip for any student downtown, and the effort it takes to get downtown while expecting to not have to drain your bank account for a small pizza, is so unbelievably not worth it. I’d give the service 0 stars if I could

Never get takeout here unless you have LOTS of extra time to waste. We order hours ahead of time and they never have it ready. Sometimes give us wrong orders. Great pizza. But worst service anywhere. And when you walk in to pick up they refuse to acknowledge you. Always one person just wandering around the front area looking lost.

We ordered white sauce pizza and chicken bbq pizza. I have had the white sauce pizza in Chicago, IL before, but this time ( in Storrs, CT) was horrible. It used to be my favorite pizza. But believe me this pizza was cold( I mean not piping hot, we had in the restaurant itself), I had upset stomach after wards.. neither the sauce nor the toppings tasted great… something was off… can’t point finger what was off… it didn’t taste good at all. Base was not fresh I felt… overall had a bad taste ..
I moved 12 hours away. I was excited to get a pizza from Blaze again. For the price, the size is small. It was worth it. On my last visit. This visit, big disappointment. My daughter was not happy either. Both of us tried a couple of slices and threw the rest away.

Honestly expected a regular pizzeria, but it was a welcome surprise. The worker walked us through the Subway-esc process. I tried the keto crust and it was actually good. Overall the place was a welcome surprise. Will definitely be coming back.

Good local spot for anyone at UConn. The service can be quick depending on how many people are there. The pesto cheesy bread was delicious and I would definitely recommend. I customized a 2 topping pizza and I really enjoyed the thin crust. It felt a little like New Haven pizza but at school. Everything is fairly priced as well and there are often fundraisers by local UConn organizations. The place is nice and there is seating.
