We got there at 10:25 P.M 1/13/24 and to our disbelief they were cleaning and closed. There in plain sight it says they closing at 11:00 pm. One staff refused to give us service even though bake goods still in the shelf. Other customers were there standing waiting and wondering why closed early? FAY DA please change your store closing sign.

When I moved to New York, this was my favorite bakery. After moving back to Boston, I've missed this place dearly. I couldn't believe I found this bakery inside Foxwoods. Most of the staff were friendly and the variety of pastries were abundant for a small store. It had everything you expect to see at a Chinese bakery. Totally recommend if you need a quick snack or a pick me up.

Lotus cakes? Melon cakes? Almond cookies? I love them all! But they are only open on weekends now. They have Western-style pastries too, but I've never tried them - when you can have a melon cake?

I was at the Fay Da Bakery on 1/15/23 (not 1 week ago as stated in my account). They had delicious looking pastries but I gave them 4 stars because they were sold out of chocolate croissants very early. On 1/14/23, my Daughter bought a fresh smoothie here that was very good & only $5.

This bakery had delicious fruit smoothies for only $5.00. All baked goods are fresh & made from scratch. This is inside the Foxwoods Casino Resort.
I had a coconut bubble tea. It was good but too sweet. I saw that they had hummingbird cake, my favorite and so hard to find in bakeries. I'll have to try it next time.

We bought several items, but they were all average and may have benefited by being warm up in toaster oven afterwards. Service was excellent and they do draw in a steady line of customers, but we will take a pass the next time.

The baked goods at Fay Day Bakery are always good, so I have no complaints about the pastries here. I would definitely recommend getting them.I'm giving them 2 stars because of their customer service. And, I am writing this review to give a heads up about a few things if you plan to go here. They charge you for ice. - We got drinks because we thought that they would give us ice for those purchased drinks. I asked for a large cup of ice and it was $1. - However, they didn't even ask me, "It will be $1 for each cup, would you still like it?" They just gave it to us and charged us.- If you need ice for your drinks, I suggest going to Dunkin Donuts. They usually don't charge you for ice, but not too sure about the one at the casino.Also, the cashier charged us for ten cents for a bag. - I know that ten cents is not a lot, but they should ask and not just charge you. We could have easily carried our stuff.Lastly, if you order bubble tea, they give you a paper straw.- This makes it impossible to drink your bubble tea because the straw gets wet quickly and the boba won't be able to get through or will get stuck. - I understand the reason for giving paper straws, but for the other drink straws, they gave regular straws, so I don't understand why they gave straws that are impossible to use for bubble tea.So, if you are planning to go here, please keep track of what they are charging you and if you are getting bubble tea, you'll have to drink quickly or suffer with the paper straw.
