Went in for dinner ordered burgers. Both arrived dry and flavorless. Asked for onion and didnt get any. Was like something a kid would make on a play doh set. Buffet still not up and running, salad they had available looked old and dried up. Employees walking around talking instead of doing their job. Looks like the cooks have given up, definitely cannot call them chefs with what they put out. Talk about disappointing. The food served looks NOTHING like the pictures they have posted on website, if it did i wouldn’t be posting this.

My steak was overcooked and the service wasn't great. For a "steakhouse," don't get the steak. The baked potato and salad were fine.

The real steaks were the friends we made along the way.The finest establishment on the route from NYC to Massachusetts.

walked in place was empty.. well maybe 2 other tables taken. ordered our food and sat down... food gets to table. steak looked gray barely any sear on it. NO flavor what so ever. steak ful of grizzle.. 2 burgers ordered were dry, no flavor. only thing dcent was the baked potatoe and french fries. Left all the food there and got our refund. This place has gone way downhill from what it was in the past. Anyone saying the food is very good must have some very low standards. $14 for a teenie lil piece of ribeye full of grizzle, I thought i was being punked when i saw it. Definetly do not recommend this place to anyone.. Go to Texas Roadhouse instead...

Absolute worst steak ever. Flat and dry. Horrible. And I ordered rare. Potato was dry. Salad is horrible. Drinks are kid size. People standing around. Not friendly service at all. Thought we’d try it being new here. Never again.

Needless to say, this time around the food tastes like Management Change and for this review, that is a good thing. The price point for solo dining and or for families is always spot on here. Even when the prices are going up at other restaurants, American Steakhouse still has decent prices. I went with the rib & steak combo for $16.99 that came with a baked potato, I added a dutch apple pie and corn with a drink. My total was roughly $33 all because I upsized my steak from a 6oz to a 12oz and that was fine. The corn on the cob was ok but my dutch apple pie wasn't. Something was wrong with the flavor of the apples. Tart and slimy with an estranged flavor on the crust itself. Maybe a better homemade option from a local vendor might help. My ribs definitely had "fall off the bone" activity but these were truly some baby back or even small enough to be some fetus back ribs, not much for the meat to hold onto at all but I will say they were nice and tender. The ONLY real issue I had was with the rib sauce. It was more a knock off ketchup and water mix flavor, that left me at odds with these ribs. The steak was juicy and flavorful. I did enjoy the bite on this one. An improvement from my last steak here in a major way. We are going in the right direction. My baked Potato was perfect!! I tossed some salt and pepper on that bad boy and we were rocking into flavorville with a real hot baked potato! Service from the staff was right on time as well. Everyone kept with smiles and recommendations, as it should be for an overall good experience.

Worst Experience Ever!!! We ordered 2 steaks and both steaks were raw and bloody when we specifically said cooked medium well. We even heard the order taker say medium well on the microphone when she called the food out. We sat and waited for the manager and he just ignored us and left us sitting at the table for about 15 minutes. Finally I got up to talk to the manager and he said that he wasn't cooking our steaks over and blamed us for the raw bloody steaks. The manager needs retraining or another job since he doesn't know how to handle customer complaints or make customers happy when the food isn't made correctly. Never again will i visit this place! Im sure the manager doesn't eat raw steaks so why should I have to eat a raw steak?

Requested the manager (who's is also the cook) to come over to the table because our Steaks were rare. Waiting 30 minutes and still no manger/cook came over to resolve the issue. Asked for refund and that also took forever.
