Wow! We’re from out of town and were shocked that we found a place that had plant based cold cuts! We were just going to get a salad because we figured A sandwich shop always make a good salad, but then we saw the menu And we’re excited to try the regular plant sub and the chicken cutlet one. And they weren’t just passable like a lot of veggie stuff. They were amazing. Also, the chop salad was awesome! After trying many CT grinders, this Italian combo (with hot peppers!) is by far my favorite. The meats are piled high, their special veg mix is flavorful and crisp, the bread’s pillowy. Perfection.

Food is horrible. I personally used to work there. I'm not saying it because I left I'm saying it because I I know for a fact I've had the one in Meriden and I had the one in Wallingford. The food is horrible. They recycle their food it's not fresh I although I have not been in Nardelli in about seven years, last time, I went to our deli the food was not all that great when I worked there I'm going to give the review from when I worked there as a customer I personally like the food, but when I worked there staff was not polite. Staff treated me like I didn't know what I was doing. They had favoritism when I worked there when your individual and you worked there and you have special needs. Don't work there at all because they will not treat you right they asked me to do impossible task given others the hours that I so rightfully deserved their asking me to do task that were totally impossible to do and they knew it. They were not giving me no hours they were not being fair to the rate of pay my personal opinion. They suck when it comes to management and they suck when it comes to communication.

Gotten food poisoning. After eating buffalo chicken grinder, grinder was good but the after math was not.

Always great food! Price, but worth itVegetarian options: The "cold cut combo" vegetarian style was very strange. Almost returned it, but i got through it. But for those who don't eat meat, they do have something for ya!

So far I've had the "Italian" & meatball & steak and cheese, on separate visits. All have been very good and fresh, the steak and cheese is not of a Philly type or quality. The bread is dense, they have wraps which are good if you don't care for dense bread.
The staff were super friendly and interactive with each customer! Sandwiches were also fresh and the menu wasn't your typical sandwich menu.
