Haven't been here in a long time. Happened to be in area and just had to go. Place is a staple in CT. Went with a double steamed chesse burger LTM ONION & spicy mustard to get my fix. Didn't disappoint either did the cute lady keeping them coming out fast to get you out quick on a work day. I'll be back but just going single chesse burger.

I kept the extra star up because the menu is unique and people still need to experience what they offer. The order execution is very chaotic. I witnessed several orders getting messed up and my ticket apparently never printed so I was there for a while left to simply observe. The establishment is run down and cramped. That said, the food stands on its own. I love that they are good about toppings so everyone can have the type of burger they want.

The cheese on my burger was not steamed long enough. I have heard so much about Ted's steamed burgers...I can safely say I prefer grilled or broiled.

I really want to give 5 stars, but I can't.... I have been seeing Ted's on Hamburger TV specials & shows for years now... Finally made the drive from Campton New Hamshire on our way home to New York, and it was just alright... It's more cheese then burger, and it comes on a roll (like kaiser)... The fries were good... All in all i'm glad we stopped after seeing it on TV all these years... But not even in my top 5... Service was great, & the atmosphere was like a small diner spot. Nothing fancy which keeps the charm... Not bad, but not what we were expecting...

My only negative about Ted’s is the parking. But it’s a great place to grab a bite. Awesome burgers.Parking: Parking is on the street from what I can tell. It’s hard when there’s a lot of snow.

My stepfather lives and dies by this place and they definitely have a loyal following. For me, I didn't get it. The burger reminded me of a scab that falls off in the pool. I'll stick to grilled stuff from now on
