“Best Bakery in town with lots of Brazilian hot food, good coffee, beverages, beautiful cakes. They also have the best traditional "Pão francês" which is a bread that the Brazilians have every morning in their breakfast. I highly recommend this bakery if you wanna try different stuff from another culture.“

“I may be the owners daughter, but this place is truly amazing. Coincidence im lactose intolerant, but the vegan options (which dont contain lactose) are amazing. Staff here is amazing, keeping everything super clean. If there were more stars to rate with, Big Dipper would fill all of them. 10/10“

“Wonderful little pastry and bakery shop. The place might be small but gosh! The quality is really high. I walked away with the Tres Leches (3 milk) cake and their Coconut cream tart as well as a slice of pound cake to snack on. My friend had the same coconut cream tart and ordered a bunch of their cookies - neither of us were complaining. I practically inhaled my tres leches cake. The owner is friendly as well. When I asked her which 3 milks did she use for her tres leches cake, I asked because the recipe I use has coconut milk. She said that she can't use coconut milk because "this is Connecticut" which I'm guessing means that even something as bland as coconut milk is probably too exotic for Connecticut WASPs. Still I hope this place sticks around because her offerings are wonderful and Woodbury needs some a dose of exoticness.“

“To reviewer tmG9470YS - I think you have reviewed the wrong bakery. Our bakery is spotless, all our baked goods are baked fresh and we don't even use the dumpsters (we dont want to attract bears). So I don't know where you went and a found a dirty bakery and found box mixes in the dumpsters it was not Southbury Baking Company. It must have been another local bakery. “I have family in waterbury that we try and visit monthly and this is the first place we stop at each time and believe it or not it is just for the loaves of bread and my brother in law drives all the way from NH to grab just bread for certain occasions.... Amazing place. BTW the desserts are amazing breakfast sandwiches are huge and filling and of course Delicious! My suggestion is go there because there is a lot to choose from and you won't be disappointed.......“
