got oxtail with rice and peas. oxtail was pretty good and the spice level was nice. however, the rice and peas was like uncle bens rice and that was not the traditional rice and peas. overall, pretty good just disappointed with the rice.

It’s good to read reviews and sometimes they won’t all be positive so it’s best to see for yourself! I’m so glad I went there! The food was delicious and the service was great! I had the oxtails meal and the grilled shrimp and I bought the stew chicken for my daughter. Oh can we talk about that Jamaican Rum Punch!!!?I will definitely be going back!

Delicious, the oxtails were seasoned to perfection and had just the right amount of heat, the Mac and cheese and cabbage paired perfectly with everything and please order the festival bread!!! Also don't forget a few sides of that j*** sauce because you'll want to pour it on everything

Ordered through grubhub... First, I was sent an email that I was being charged $5 for a change that I made. I made NO CHANGES. I contacted grubhub and got nowhere so I called the restaurant who didn't answer the phone. Left a voicemail and got no call back. Why was I charged $5 more for my order? I didn't order any extra sauces. I didn't make changes. I didn't ask for anything extra. Principle. I deserved an explanation and got nothing. Most of my order was incorrect. 1- j*** chicken was ordered with rice and peas. The j*** chicken looked like charcoal. My husband was given rice with black beans. 2. Ordered 2 orders of chicken stew and white rice- no vegetables in stew and wAs given black beans and rice. Looked NOTHING like pictures on yelp. 3. Ordered one beef patty and one chicken patty- got two of the same and to be honest I don't even know what was inside it. 4. Fries had no salt. I have a food allergy and it should have been disclosed that white rice had black beans. I couldn't eat it. I was excited to have a new option on Grub Hub in my area-- especially one with such great reviews but it was the biggest disappointment. Definitely will not order from this restaurant again.
