We used to eat here , for years, almost every week. Eventually a new owner changed the dough recipe for their pizza, and we were not happy with it. Gone was the flavor and texture we had loved, so we stopped going. Flash to last week, and I decided to give it another try. Ordered pizza. It was awful. No flavor. Sauce and dough tasteless. Poor texture. Sure, the pepperoni were fine, but that's like lipstick on a pig. This place sure isn't what it used to be.

Went here when I was a young kid years ago, and after the brothers sold it, it went downhill for a while until they closed for remodeling, and lol they must have remodeled their food too because it’s one of the best Italian places I know of now!Everything from their pizza to calzones and meals are delicious. Had the eggplant Parmesan tonight and there was definitely enough to feed two people. It had a ton of delicious eggplant and a beautiful melted layer of mozzarella on top. And you get a side salad and 3 huge garlic knots. Their prices are more than fair for the price quality of the food you’re getting.The staff there is amazing as well. They sound like they actually care and are very polite and welcoming. When ordering over the phone a lot of these places sound like they dont care about your business, but pizza palace is the exact opposite.
1st time since new owners. Soft on the end of slices where everything just slid off should it been cooked more ...but the top crust was crunchy and good. Was hoping it was like the old owners made it but very different. Didnt care for it, but the service was quick.

We ordered large pizza half cheese and tomato & broccoli on the other , and a salad. We sat outside at a table, there was a little wind ,but nice out. When the pizza arrived, it was hot and smelled great. A little shaker garlic and some Parmigiano,... perfecto! The salad was vibrant and fresh.

This is very good pizza. On the thinner side dough-wise, but they cook it just right for a nice flavor. Crust has just enough crunch to make it good to eat but can still fold efficiently. Sausage has a nice fresh flavor. The sauce is good yet not too heavy where it takes away from the cheese and toppings. Cheese is melted well and holds everything together. Only was in the restaurant for a short time, but it looked very clean and organized -- I would want to eat there one time just based on how nice it looked. I would definitely come back and explore their menu more, including signature pizzas. Highly recommended for a good pie in the Middletown area.Parking: Parking in front of store but limited. Didn't check to see if there was a back lot.
