A warm, atmospheric small restaurant run by a couple who give it a very wholesome family run vibe. The location is small but the family who works there is very doting and kind. The food? Amazing. I ordered multiple things off the menu and they all hit the spot.If you've never tried Tibetan, go. If you want a restaurant that's comfort food and not too intense, go. Try the momos (Tibetan dumplings) or get a nice warm bowl or noodle soup.

Enjoyed dinner at Potala last night. This is a cozy (read small) mom & pop restaurant with delicious complex flavors. I couldn't wait to try the food as the aromas coming from the kitchen were amazing. It is listed as an Asian fusion restaurant. They have spring rolls, curries, what looked like hand cut noodles in my soup (D4 Lhasa Thukpa) and mung bean vermicelli in my husband's soup (D7 Phing-Sha). Both soups were delicious. Our kids had the momo (dumplings) & fried rice. Also good. Everything was prepared fresh and very hot as it came to the table. Very reasonably priced & worth a try.

The food here is amazing and authentic. I would strongly suggest checking this local and family-owned business out if you want to get a taste of authentically made Tibetan cuisine in Middletown. The staff and service is extremely kind and helpful! And the place is very clean with beautiful art and decor! I hope to come again to get a taste of the delicious food!

Very very good! I was a frequent patron of Tibetan Kitchen for many years and Potala Tibetan Kitchen is just as wonderful! Service was great, food was delicious and the pricing was very fair. I will be back often!

Absolutely delicious food. The dumplings and dumpling soup are truly outstanding. The spring rolls are unusual and perfect. The portions are large and we had friendly and excellent service. We will be returning soon and often.

Food is fantastic. Different from Tibetan Kitchen but in the best way possible. The shaptak was very flavorful and a big portion. Very glad to have Potala in town!
