We had an amazing birthday dinner for our daughter here. Our server Darcey was GREAT! Five star service - she took great care of us, gave excellent recommendations for dinner entrees and even sang Happy Birthday to our daughter with us (all while she was the only server for the entire restaurant AND the only bartender)! Will definitely be back again - especially to have the short rib entree - so delicious!

Darcey is amazing at her job! You know someone cares about what they do by their attention to detail and attitude. She didn’t miss a single detail and had a positive vibe for over 6 hours, something that deserves to be recognized.

We arrived early for our reservation and were greeted warmly and offered a seat at the bar while waiting. I enjoyed a blackberry spritz that was delicious. My husband had an old fashioned that was one of the best he has ever had. The bartender, Lisa, took care of everything and was a wonderful host. I had the braised short ribs that were very tasty and my husband had the pasta dish and said it was good.

Very nice place but there's really not much to choose as far as food menu wasn't really anything other than burgers and fries for my kids and they didn't even eat it the people were friendly and polite in my opinion this place isn't for anyone with kids

We were first-time diners at the Tavern and it was a great first impression of the restaurant. Our two entrees were excellent (NY Strip and short ribs) and we're looking forward to trying other menu items. Our server, Darcy, was the best! What a beautiful hotel lobby!

A great conversation and an even better drink! Lisa at the Tavern’s bar is always up for an uplifting chat, and never misses a step with her fabulous service and well-crafted cocktails. Fans of a perfectly crafted Manhattan or a well-balanced Negroni will not want to miss this spot for delicious food and beverages served by an effervescent server who never lets anyone at her bar stay a stranger for long…visitors to this spot feel like family by the time you pay the check. Don’t miss this place…put it on your list when in the area. -Dr.B????????

We never had been to the Tavern but I knew my fiancé wanted to give it a try…..I made a reservation for two to celebrate his birthday… upon arriving we went into the restaurant which was very warm and comfortable but we stood there for way too long before someone greeted us. Finally a very friendly and upbeat server did acknowledge us and seated us in the bar area in a booth… again I’ll say I MADE A RESERVATION FOR THE TWO OF US.. not really in a bar setting. The food was mediocre, nothing to write home about…and truly the service also was less than mediocre BUT the waitress (server) was over the top!! She was very friendly and accommodating, almost as if we knew her forever!!!! She made our night! Thanks Lisa!!!! ♥️

Was there for retirement seminar, but had to ask for more water and was never asked if I wanted anything else.

Weirdly bright but sad looking. Almost no one there. I hadn't been there since way before Covid, and since then they've removed the wall between the bar and the dining room with the fireplace, which used to be very cozy, but is now kind of like a small convention room in a chain hotel. The lights are way too bright. The short ribs were pretty good, but my mashed potatoes were cold, not even lukewarm. The waitress was overly friendly and somewhat intrusive.

Nice ambiance but service was a little upsetting. I am over 60 single woman who went in alone to eat before a movie. The barkeep/waitress began nice but ultimately unattentive even though it was not busy. I felt fairly invisible. Took a long time to even get a beer. In fact I had to pretty much interfere with her waiting on somebody else cuz she kept waiting on the person next to me and she didn't even ask me what kind of beer I wanted. Seemed very disinterested . Didn't offer me bar snacks but I saw people later having them. Asked for some extra ketchup that didn't happen. That sounds like a small thing but when someone looks you in the eye and says sure thing and you don't get it you have to wonder what's this all about. Again not at all busy or hassled. In fact it was pretty dead. I got called Called "dear" now that I'm older I truly hate to that, however she may say that to everybody I think this had more to do with catering to the locals. Then when I finally wrapped it up to go she assured me there was a lot of ketchup to go.For crying out loud I am not retarded or homeless. They sound like small things but cumulatively they make a difference. Especially if you're alone. I travel a great deal most often for business so I know what to to expect on the high and low side of service. Train your staff to treat everyone with respect and to.pay attention! The waitress not a bad person she seemed nice in general. This however could be much better that's all. By the way the food was really good. So that's a big plus

The room is welcoming and comfortable, sadly that's where the positives end for me.On arrival we had to search out someone to seat us (they were chatting by the fire).Food was good generally but with highs and lows so it rather depends on what you pick. The big annoyance was the service. To have your main course brought while your starter is still in place is dreadful. After juggling plates to be asked to remove your used cutlery for reuse is remarkable.Training is much in need.
