Love them! Just wanted to let people know their Milford location is temporarily closed. Tried to grab dinner today. Their window says "temporarily closed will be open again soon".

This place is a literal window that you order through and I suggest you call ahead to place your order so your not standing at the busy street corner for too long. Once you get past the difficult parking and you get your food to bring it somewhere to eat it (ASAP while it's hot) your mouth will water! The seasoning is so great. We got catfish and shrimp, portions good and the shrimp were really big. We really enjoyed our food. It's not cheap but seafood never is. Also the menu is a little hard to track as there's different menus on the website vs other spots to look online so I posted the one stuck to the door but it seems to change every once in a while so if you call to order ask if they've got what you're looking for and what the current price is. I actually want these shrimps right now :)

Awesome! Best clam strips!! It has been awhile since my husband and I have had clam strips that are crunchy with a great taste. Will definitely order here again.

Husband and I wanted some seafood after hiking around Silver Sands State Park, and we were not disappointed when we found this little gem downtown. Everything is made to order (they had to filet his fish before they can deep fry) and nothing is frozen. For the cost of $9.50, you get a freshly fileted whiting fish (4 total) on a bed of super crunchy fries. Talk about worth the 15min wait! As for my soft shell crab, the sauce they coated it in after deep frying it was just amazing. The owner (I think he's the owner lol) told me to taste the sauce before they closed my to-go box and oh my goodness yall I could pour that sauce on everything! It's tangy, sweet, spicy, sour, appley. Hubby says it's also "cinnamony with a bite." Either way that sauce is delicious! We will definitely go back next time we visit Milford.

I got a fish and shrimp combo with fries, you get enough to split for two people! The fish wasn't overly fried and greasy but light and crispy that melted with each bite. The shrimp were huge and plump and tasty. It tasks an extra bit for them to make it but it is worth it.

Great service, and music. Service with a smile you feel even behind a mask. My coworker told me they were good. So I decided to give them a try. You order at the window. Not fast food, but made to order. Can eat outside if you like.

I agree, absolutely a HIDDEN GEM... I have yet to find another place that their fish is anywhere near as good as Fish Ahoy. We ordered the cod and the seasoning was so good and flavorful and the piece of fish is sizable, most won’t be able to eat more than one piece. We went back the next day for more but they were closed... this is my new favorite go to place... only wish they filled the cup with tarter sauce... this size of the fish needs a full container of tarter sauce times 2...

This spot located on the corner of Daniel Street and River Street is a hidden gem. It's walk up service only. A couple of tables outside and a serving window where you can place an order or pick up takeout. You will hear classic R&B and Motown from there stereo system and see the guys inside dancing, singing, laughing while they prepare the food. The love of their craft is evident in the product. You will find the best fish and chips that you've ever had. Light and fluffy, crisp and fresh. Good size portions. They also have other items like fried clams, fried shrimp and other battered seafood. Their batter is infused with a Cajun spice which gives it a little Creole kick. This place caters to the local crowd that have learned of this place through word of mouth. Often, even in cold weather, there are people ordering, which is a testimony to their food as the location has gone through various food service choices.

I am so happy that I found Fish Ahoy! What a great place for food! The owner is absolutely amazing so nice and friendly helped guide me to the right selection. I ordered fish and chips with shrimp / combo unbelievable. It made my day and it was the best food I had tasted in so long! Great quality! I highly recommend to everyone and i am now a repeat customer!
