We had dessert here and the service was amazing! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Both the food and the dessert were great, they had interesting specials that I recommend trying. The atmosphere was extremely pretty and pleasant. Definitely recommend trying if you're in the area!

Amazing place! The staff is incredibly hospitable and willing to help, they did everything in their power to elevate our experience. The place was clean and aesthetic with incredible food. We had most things off the dessert menu and they were all amazing. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good time!

I've dined here many times over the years and I'm never disappointed. The staff and owner are always happy and welcoming. The food is always great (along with drinks) as well as deserts. I've gone on various days of the week as well and am generally always able to get a table and have a great dining experience.

This is the cutest little spot. Very unique spin on dishes and absolutely delicious. Don’t pass on the carpaccio, it is to die for. One of the best bartenders anywhere in the state, Dani H, delish and creative mixology drinks and presentation was outstanding. Thank you Dani for a great night!

This is a great little spot for a date night! The ambiance is incredible, and there's a really great vibe to this place. I will warn you, the menu can be a little confusing, due to the chef's interpretation of some dishes. For example, the "cheesecake" is not a slice of cheesecake, but rather a ramekin with a mousse on top of a light dusting of crumbs, served with peaches. The taste of the dishes is good, but you have to be sure you know what you're ordering.

During our first visit to Strega for our anniversary, the high-quality food clearly stood out, making it evident why reservations are a must. The culinary experience, especially the bread on both the focaccia and the pizza, was truly remarkable—some of the best I've ever enjoyed. The pizza portions were satisfying, although some dishes, like the salad, were smaller than expected for the price, yet still of good quality. However, our special occasion went unrecognized despite noting it in our reservation, a detail that was disappointing. While not expecting free items, a simple acknowledgment or special welcome would have been appreciated, considering the restaurant prompts for the occasion of the visit. The ambiance, though dark and potentially romantic, was compromised by the noise level. Despite having a corner spot, the sound from surrounding tables and a large group nearby made it challenging to enjoy a quiet conversation. This aspect might be something to consider for those seeking a more intimate dining experience. While Strega offers an exceptional dining experience with outstanding food that alone merits a return, the atmosphere and service in regard to special occasions could be improved. Knowing what to expect, I would recommend Strega to food enthusiasts with a note on the lively environment. For future visits, I'll adjust my expectations, particularly regarding the ambiance and special acknowledgments, for an even better experience.

Food brilliant as always, starting with the mixed board which is a great group share. Excellent service, the whole room noisy with conversation, which to me is a plus. The place boils with energy like you're in a big city. Just superb.

Strega, in Milford CT, is an exciting mix of fine dining and contemporary night out, with delicious food. We shared an appetizer of a Carpaccio ($20) which came drizzled with olive oil, salted, and peppered beautifully, with thinly shaved mushrooms AND black truffle. The beef itself was fresh, sliced with finesse, and was a perfect savory palette cleanser. We then went for two gnocchi dishes for entrees, one with a black truffle parmesan cream sauce ($29) and the other, a pork and tomato ragu ($28), baked in a bowl. The former was salty and creamy, but slightly overpowering in its flavor, and the latter was seasoned beautifully, though ever so slightly skimpy in the amount of pork present in the sauce. However, in both dishes, the gnocchi was light, fluffy, and portioned perfectly; it was some of the best gnocchi we've had. We also ordered a Diavola Pizza to share ($18) which had spicy salami and fresh marinara sauce. The crust was perfectly charred and the heat from the salami was the perfect level, contrasted against the creamy mozzarella. For dessert, we went with the Tiramisu ($12), which was the only letdown of the night. The texture was off, and it was thick, almost as if it was made with condensed milk, and it lacked the defined cake layers that one expects in a tiramisu. Holistically though, Strega offers incredible Italian food, and we would return without thinking twice!

Amazing food and service. Can't wait to go again and highly recommend! Shout out to Luke and wonderful server. Every person that works there goes over and beyond to ensure you have a great experience.

This place is a gem. Great food in normal, not gigantic portions, which we actually loved. The service was personal and outstanding. Herschel is an asset to this restaurant and took care of us like old friends. Go and try new things that you won't find in many places.
