One of the very best Mexican restaurants I have been to!! Mohegan Sun Casino has amazing restaurants with great food and Sol Toro is at the very top of my list!!!! The table side guacamole is so delicious and the margaritas are amazing. The service was very professional and my server Mariah was the best! I recommend this place and can't wait to go back soon.

We were going to a show any quick service, we told the wages that she took care of us. The food was excellent and we got to the show with plenty of time left. Please bring back the chicken wings!

Extremely disappointing!!! Complimentary Chips and Salsa are provided while you wait an eternity for your food to arrive. The chips were great- not greasy at all and properly salted. The salsa was bland, which seems to be a pattern with their food. My wife ordered Beef Chimichanga which came with refried beans and rice. The beef tasted like it came out of a shepherds pie rather than having any Mexican seasoning at all and stopped eating it after two bites. The rice was just as flavorless. I ordered the Shrimp Fajitas with corn tortillas. The dish was cooked properly, but again had absolutely no flavor. I ate up all the shrimp and finished the refried beans and we left without To Go boxes very dissatisfied. Plenty of other restaurants in Mohegan, skip this one for sure!!!Parking: 13k parking spots available. Valet is also available if desired.

I ordered a dish but had them substitute black beans instead of steak and had no cheese or sour cream due to being vegan. They still charged the full price. Black beans are way cheaper than steak last I checked. Won't be returning unfortunately.

Food was tasty but everything was spicy. Be prepared for a delicious but hot meal. Coconut margarita was delicious. We both enjoyed the plantains. The service was good. Overall a good meal and a nice experience

Definitely make reservations! And dont worry about getting a reget 2 top, for once the table was a good size. You had room for 2 dinners easy. The table side margarita was cool. Loved that it was made with fresh squeezed fruit. The tequila was really smooth. As far as it being high end food, I'd say it was pretty middle of the road. I will say, the stake in my meal was good. Chips at the table were very unevenly salted, which i know sounds like a silly thing to bring.

Sol Toro is top notch. For three nights in a row, the food, drinks, and exceptional service exceeded our expectations. Our favorites are the spicy piña margarita, roasted garlic and corn guacamole, filet fajitas, and the beef empanadas.Chelsey is an outstanding bartender. She personalized our date nights by remembering us, our drinks and food, and being incredibly personable and observant.

We came in an hour early bc I was experiencing dizziness due to not eating all day. At first the hostess told us she couldn't get us in earlier but I waited and asked the Manager if we could be seated earlier.. He immediately told the hostess to get me some chips/salsa and water. I was so appreciative of his kindness. For that reason alone, I'd go back. We ended up being seated in about 5 mins later thanks to his graciousness. My husband and I ordered the fajitas and asked for a chicken /steak combo which is not on the menu as a combo but they accommodated us w/ no problem, however, they did charge us extra for making it a combo. I would say that is my only issue with the menu. They should have that option as every Mexican restaurant I've been to always has that option at no up charge or a very small up charge. What they did was charge us for the steak fajita meals $32 and $37 and added $5.00 per person to make it half steak and half chicken. They should've charged us $30 each for chicken fajita meals and then $5.00 each for the steak. So we got robbed a bit. But the food was very good. The steak I'd recommend getting is the cheaper one - The strip steak. It's just as good if not better than the filet. Very soft and tasty. The chicken was outstanding also. The fixings that come w/the fajitas were plentiful and I added pickled jalapeño which was no charge. One thing I did send back was the refried beans. They looked putrid. Probably old and sitting all day. Asked for xtra rice instead. Our reservation was late so be prepared when you take a late reservation for getting some old garnishings. The fajita wraps we weren't crazy about. They were grilled so they had a charred taste. Never had them that way. Usually they are just warmed. Not bad but not great and they gave us plenty of them. All in all the food was very good, the waiter was very nice and personable, and the Manager was a gem. The ambiance is pretty blah. Not much to see. I'll be back to try more stuff.

Food is just ok. Nothing stands out at this restaurant. The margaritas are not even served in a traditional margarita glass!! Service was really slow or they just hated me. The table of 8 that came in an hour after us got their food first which really surprised me. Service was not very good especially for the price of everything. Better off going somewhere else for sure.

We are black. We tried to get into this restaurant at Moeghan Sun. First time, we had no reservations and being a diabetic, I need to eat and was more close to this place than others. The young woman on the desk would not let us in. Reservations 1st, so I made a new on this past Friday for Sunday. Also a problem with the young woman at the front

The food was all excellent and our server was attentive and thorough making sure we always had drinks and the food we wanted. The table-side quac was amazing with corn and shrimp. The pork belly tacos were awesome with the pickled vegetables. This is the most reasonable place for a meal in the casino, can't wait to go back.

Our server, Hazel, was friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing, especially the tableside guacamole and the chicken quesadillas. The signature margherita was among the best I've ever had. With appetizers, drinks and meals our bill was under $100. Considering the cost of fast food these days, that's a pretty good value.

Our waitress was lovely and so helpful. We booked our reservation a month prior asking for a booth, as it was a special occaion. We were told the note was seen, but not given a booth. It definitely could have been a better seating experience and it was very loud. However, the food and service was very good.
