Our first time visit to the area and Mystic Diner was recommended. We enjoyed their breakfast several mornings. Clean, friendly, attentive staff, many selections, breakfast all day, reasonable prices. Lots of desserts but didn't try any. They have a take out window. If it looks like they're packed and long wait, go in anyway, the place is huge. It happened to us and there were plenty of tables/booths available.

We stopped here for lunch the other day and boy was it yummy! I went with their Mushroom & Swiss Burger topped with lettuce & tomato! It was huge and so yummy! I also had a Chocolate Shake and that too was really good. Will definitely be back!

So we stopped off for a quick lunch while in the area. The diner was really cute and diner-like. There was merchandise available, as well as a case of delicious looking pastries. We were seated immediately and was pleased with a somewhat typical diner menu, as that was what we were after. But the chicken and waffles caught my eye on the "specials" menu.We each ordered a chocolate shake, which was delicious. But these chicken and waffles, oh my... a full bone in chicken breast and drumstick, atop a mammoth Belgian waffle. The honey sriracha sauce was abolso lúyelo out of this world. Literally the absolute best chicken and waffles anywhere!!!If they did not have it on the menu the next time, I would definitely go for some fried chicken, as it was absolute perfection in itself! What an amazing find this diner was!!!

Sightseeing in Mystic we happened upon this diner right off the highway. Very clean, huge menu, friendly and attentive waitstaff. My husband had breakfast, I had lunch. Absolutely delicious! Would definitely go back the next time we visit!

It's not just a diner! Sure, all the comfort foods were there, but they had some unique selections too. We had the Greek Yougut Parfait and Swiss & Mushroom omelette for breakfast. A dozen or so in-house donuts and baked goods were nice choices.Service was typical for a diner with being called "hun". Inside was clean, bet definitely a diner.

Excellent start to our family trip in Mystic. It was raining so we decided to eat first instead of getting wet at the Aquarium. This diner was really good. We came for breakfast. They had a lot of options on the menu. I had the Western omelet, which was very good, and others at my table loved the French toast and the eggs Benedict. I also ordered a caramel iced coffee and it was delicious. They gave me the caramel syrup to add myself along with cream/sugar and it was very good! I’m normally very skeptical about coffee, but really needed some caffeine for a long travel day! The staff was all very friendly and efficient and the bathrooms were also very clean and well maintained! Definitely stop here for breakfast when you are visiting Mystic!

9/25 we stopped here at 7:30 am. Not too many people at this hour. Linda was our bubbly experienced server. Coffee is strong and good. Recommend the pigs in a snuggie & The Lumberjack. Right off the highway and close to the maritime museum.

This spot is a great place to get wonderful food for reasonable prices in a very friendly atmosphere. The service is excellent. There is a wide variety of dining options. The seafood is well worth exploring. Next time we are in the area we want to explore their all day breakfast options.

This is a gem. Great food, great service and a good value. Went to breakfast 3 days in a row. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend while in Mystic.

What a huge disappointment! Lots of improvement needed to be decent. Starter of clam chowder was forgotten and then when it came it wasn’t worth it. Very hard in the roux and heavy on the potatoes. Fresh cod was tasty but small and the roll overwhelmed it. Turkey club was decent and heavy on the bacon. Issue with both meals came with the fries. Crisp fries were asked for by both and were soggy and cool. Waitress brought new ones that were hot but not crispy. At all. They could have been saved by decent ketchup but REALLY bad generic is what they served. Decent service.

Food was cold, potatoes taste like carrots and milk was chunky, chocolate chip pancakes were plain pancakes with mini chocolate chips on top Service was a little slow

Good food, quick service but on the weekend be there early otherwise it’s busy. A little on the pricy side for breakfast food and coffee
