Friday night, dinner time, this place is almost empty. Should of noticed the red flag. Kids mac and cheese with fries order was wrong they brought something else. How do you mess that up? Then, what they got wasn't real mac and cheese. It was kind of a joke. Chicken pot pie, not really, just a watery mess with a crust on top. Hot open face turkey, mostly cold and very bland. Nobody in the party of 8 liked what they got. Even though the place was almost empty, the service was painfully slow. Took about an hour to get our food. I heard this place used to be good in the beginning and then went downhill. I guess so. Won't be back.

Parking: The place is very popular and also shares parking with a laundromat, enterprise rental car, and a smoke shop but there's usually a space. I went to Grandpas this morning with my boyfriend, we both agreed that the food was not very good, but our server was nice and the place was clean and welcoming. More about the food: I ordered the Atlantic sandwich, when it arrived they had forgotten to put cream cheese on it, the "smoked salmon" was cooked salmon that was kinda crushed up by a fork, the tomatoe slices were quite thick, and they put about half of an entire red onion on it. My potatoes seemed to not have any seasoning at all, same with my boyfriend's soggy fries. He also said his ciabatta sandwich was underwhelming, and a bit small. I just wish they could step up their food game, they have so much potential.

This was my first time at this dinner and it wasn't the best experience first of all when I walked in the music was static and it was very annoying. The food was not the best I order BBQ ribs and there was like no meat on it and the tiny bit of meat on the ribs were hard and I also ordered boneless wings and it was way to crispy like I couldn't get a single bit of chicken. The only good thing that actually tasted good was their milkshake. Also the waitress was nice but the food wasn't... I expected better.
Iv ordered multiple times and they never listen how to what ya order.... I ordered hard boiled eggs hard boiled !!! How do you get that confused with pouched eggs ? They keep trying to say I said something about soft boiled never once said that .. I got grits that were literally a dry block in a cup ... the serive is terrible and the girl behind the counter sat on her phone and didn't pay one bit attention to customers

We have waited 45 minutes. No soup no sandwich. Finally received a BLT (allegedly with B), a roast beef on rye (but not rye), coffee that turned out to tea, and a decent Hollywood Egg bowl. Probably okay for takeout (which is what delays the delivery of food to seated customers . Only if no other place is open - but it's not a diner. An all day diner because you'll spend all day here waiting for your order ( unless you got your takeout and are already home eating).

Scrambled eggs were covered with a slice of cheese when I pulled up the cheese the eggs were raw. They charge you $4.53 for a substitute of 2 dry small turkey sausages to substitute the ham that comes with the hungry mom meal. (MIND BLOWING) Sis ordered chicken franchise and it comes with a choice of soup so Onion soup it was horrible and they brought it out with her dinner as opposed to before her dinner. The waitress was not trying to accommodate us or helping our needs she kept on insisting the reason why they charge that much is for inventory. And on top of all of that it was freezing in there who put AC in October. Four hours and 53 son should not be charged for two pieces of turkey sausage that is the size of a golf ball horrible!! Grandpa‘s diner makes me not want to support business in Naugatuck!!
