The Chicken Tenders and Mozz sticks are so good that I’ve been going there for years and have never ordered anything else.

Our favorite place to grab a bite to eat or get take out. Great burgers, wings, nachos and huge draft beer selection.

Corner Tavern is a great spot. There isn't a better draft beer selection in the area, and prices are very very good, especially on some of the "higher end" beers. The menu is limited to typical pub fare, but it's also a great value. One of the best parts about Corner Tavern is the ambience. As (I believe) the oldest bar in CT, it's the epitome of new england pub. The building is old (but clean) and brings that old tavern feeling. Highly recommended!

Great service from Josette, she is the best. I only go there when is is working, very friendly and nice, I love just having a conversation with her, makes you feel right at home! Food is good too! Never had a bad meal.

Since 1911? That's what we were told. This place has character! We love old neighborhood places like this. I counted 24 beers on the tap menu. I liked that there was a good variety - not just overly hopped IPAs - including some local CT breweries. We've been several times and the reasonably priced beer menu rotates often. The food is pretty standard pub food, probably due to the small kitchen. But, they do it well. The Black Bean Burger was excellent as were the nachos and Chipote wings. We preferred the bone-in wings over the boneless - which reminded us of crunchy McNugets. If that's your thing, OK. But, the bone-in wings are much better. I've read some reviews that service was sub-par. We did not see that at all. We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our order did take slightly longer than expected but, again, small kitchen and making food to order. Worth the wait. Definitely going back.
