Well, well, well, the food was very good here, this polish food is so tasty. If you're in the area please stop by and give them a try.

This is an excellent place for authentic Polish food. The Belvedere platter is great if you can’t make up your mind and the Hungarian goulash is fantastic. Only drawback to this place is the early closing time but it’s worth planning your day around.

This is our go-to place for a delicious Polish meal. The restaurant is beautifully decorated (including dinnerware) and also has an outdoor seating area. Food is, in my opinion, the best Polish meal in the area. The potato pancakes with smoked salmon and crème fraiche is our favorite appetizer. They also make delicious bigos, the goulash with potato pancake is huge and yummy, pierogi and golabko and specials do not disappoint. There is a full service bar. If you're not inclined to drink, order the iced tea! You will be pleasantly surprised! It is recommended to call ahead as the restaurant often hosts parties and may not be available for casual dinner. Absolutely a must go!

Quaint feel, great service, good food. The tripe soup is fantastic. I could have made a meal of it had I eaten the two rolls that came with it. Ordered the Belvedere platter, which came with hunters stew, keilbasa, stuffed cabbage, pierogis, and potato pancakes.

Came here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. Had the Belvedere platter, grilled kielbasa, and potatoe pancake appetizer. The food was delicious, and true to the polish tradition. The potatoe pancakes are huge which was unexpected but great. The service was also quick and friendly. The only criticism I would give is that the menu has a lot of overlap between plates, platters, and appetizers. So it's hard to choose an app, and then a plate, without getting double of a particular food. Not really a bad thing, but I just wish they had more variety. Additionally, when we came in, it was at a time where there was no servers around, so we sort of stood there for 5 minutes waiting... Not sure what was going on at the time. Letting this slide since everything else was spot on. I'll be coming back for more.Parking: Street parking along Broad st, some of it is paid, but not on Sunday. There is also a mini parking lot on the corner of the restaurant you can park in.

This review is about management rather than the food. We traveled from RI to New Britain to shop at a Polish market and get some Polish food for lunch. We ordered takeout from Belvedere and ended up bringing it home to eat. Upon arriving home we saw that we were given the wrong order. After calling the restaurant we were asked to call back on Monday. The person we first spoke with was quite apologetic and understood our disappointment. Called today and spoke with the owner Ella. She could not have handled the situation better. Refunded us without question and was quite sincere about inviting us back to make up for the mix up. Looking forward to getting that Belvedere platter next time.

So this is a double review! I recently went here for lunch and loved it so much I had them cater my Dad’s birthday. The lunch was amazing! The restaurant is clean, the staff is kind, and the food is just like my Babcia’s! The pierogi are amazing! We loved it so much we asked them about catering a birthday party! The catering was so easy, the owner and I texted about what I wanted, she texted me back with prices (so fast) and they were so reasonable! Next when we picked up all the food she had a case for it all that kept it warm for 4 hours! It was so hot when we served it. Everyone raved about the food! Belvedere carting paid attention to every detail. Belvedere sent us fresh dill and even fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries) for the farmers cheese pierogi! We had more than enough food and Ella the owner helped me pick the amounts! I am telling you, this was amazing! Authentic, just like your grandmas cooking! Wonderful experience! Thank you all!

Went there Saturday afternoon. The staff greeted us like they were doing us a favor finding us a table. The service was mediocre at best. Potato pancakes were deep fried greasy. Fried pierogies were like rubber. Boiled were manageable but both tasteless. Was quite a disappointment. Not a place I would return to or recommend.

Food was amazing, I had the fried blueberry pierogis and comes with strawberries and sweet cream and was AMAZING, HIGHLY Recommend! Dorota is the SWEETEST lady and honestly should get paid more than what she gets paid right now.Vegetarian options: N/AParking: Very small parking lot, must be Expanded, right now there’s only 6 parking spaces and street parking spaces too.Kid-friendliness: Very nice staffWheelchair accessibility: BROKEN Auto door button

There were no dumplings in borscht, no bread, and didn’t add applesauce and sour cream to platter.
