“I believe there's a sign painted in the window here, from long ago, which advertises "seating for ladies." That's a tip as to how long this place's been around. For sheer longevity this place should get extra kudos. It's the kind of neighborhood dive that I just love. A great place to have a couple of drinks, hide from people in general and relax. Noisy televisions (pretty good sports coverage, although one afternoon there were four older men watching a soap opera). Pool. A couple of local-flavor roughneck-looking fellows who're actually quite harmless. After spending some visits sticking with scotch on the rocks (they've got not one but four good 12-year-olds) I asked the bartender if he wouldn't mind making me a martini. He did so with cheer, aplomb and skill. Don't come here to eat. Don't come to find a date. Come here to bend your arm amidst the most non-nosy crowd I've met in Hartford.“

They have a semi private banquet room and a large menu to order from when having parties big or small .Vegetarian options: They have salad fries onion rings giant pretzels and if person eats cheese, nachos mozzarella sticks +.Kid-friendliness: When the kitchen is open, children accompanied by parents are welcomed for great bar fare. There is an additional back room with plenty of tables and an outdoor area with ample seating .Parking: There is a large parking lot.When the place is jamming, there's additional parking on the north side of the building and across the street in a strip mall.Wheelchair accessibility: Large doors at entrance spacious room and handicap bathroomsDietary restrictions: They will try to accommodate everyone's needs if possible.“

“Modern day Cheers minus the attenuation to hairstyles and conflict resolution. Pool tables are nice, bathrooms'clean, no rotten bar smell, food is typical a bar-style menu, but there isn't a very deep well in terms of spirits; I think Patron is the highest grade of liquor they carry, I could be wrong. Friendly regulars and IRREGULARS make this an ideal bar any day of the week. Pool league, bridge, and other games are played throughout the week. Check it out and take the dive!“
