They cook good besides I prefer my chicken a bit fried more crispy. I ordered food from Uber yesterday and they delivered me rotten mangos for my sweet sticky rice .smh I almost ate it until turned it around ..Management some service here needs attention!

Got the drunken noodles. Ordered at the counter. Food was ready quickly. Noodles were flavorful and cooked well. Seems to be a popular lunch spot based on how many people were eating.

Mae Kong is a great littleThai restaurant . The owner cares about her food and it shows . It is a small place tasteful but simple atmosphere . I have eaten here for many years . It is one of the few restaurants in downtown New Britain that has withstood the rest of time. While many others have come and gone Mae Kong survives. The menu is varied and contains many Thai dishes you won't find elsewhere . I have Tom Yum Khoong soup, the Larb, Pad-See-ew, a couple of Prik dishes, the green, Panang and Mussaman curries as well as several other dishes . All ver excellent. S solid and relatable Thai restaurant. It's BYOB.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this establishment. The decor is inviting and fun. The servers and the owner both work the floor and are friendly and efficient. What really sets this restaurant apart is the food. I got the calamari appetizer, and it was cooked perfectly and very tasty. I also got the rice noodle soup (pho). The broth was rich and flavorful. The meat was succulent and the noodles were perfectly tender. An array of sauces and spices are available to jazz up the dish as you'd like. 10/10 on the pho. Lastly, the dishes were very fairly priced for their portion sizes and quality. I am not from this area, but next time I am here, this will be my go to dinner spot!

One our favorite places!! We love Thai food and we think this is the best!! Uma, the owner is amazing!! We have been coming here since it opened! We started with Fresh Roll, always a refreshing start, very fresh and Brit flavors with the mint and shrimp!! Also got a Freshly Squeezed Lime Thai Iced Tea and a Thai Green Tea with Boba. We've tried many dishes here and tonight I actually tried something new to me, (I usually get Pad Thai or Crispy Chicken and I love them both!!), but, I decided on GOLDEN SPICY CRISPY WHITING FISH with a sweet chili sauce, I liked it, although I didn't expect bones (easy fix, they come out easily) a little spicy with green and red bell peppers and cashew nuts. My husband got one of his favorites, Green Curry with Duck. A beautiful dish, eggplant, green beans, red bell pepper, basil, bamboo shoots. Delicious!! So we left room for dessert.... Lol... I tried one of Uma's creations a Vanilla Crepe cake with strawberries and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Omg!! It was amazing and the hubby had Coconut Ice Creamwith Sweet Sticky Rice. He really enjoyed it!If you haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for?! You will love it like we do!!
