They need more to offer or I don't know if it's because of the time I arrive at the place!!!

New cooks working there. I find it's nothing as I remember, beans is made like a soup with celery and tasteless. I think south Americans make the food now and you can tell. Miss the dominican/puerto rican flavor. The salted cod stew had so many fish bone, they do not clean it.

This is a little hole in the wall place that has authentic Spanish food. I believe the owners are Puerto Rican. It's a tiny place with limited seating, but the food is delicious. They always have a good variety of Spanish dishes that'll delight your palate. The price is fair even better than some of the other places we've been to. The portions are big enough to share or save for lunch.Parking is tight because you're in the downtown area, and it's always busy. It's definitely worth the ride for the price and experience of the food.Vegetarian options: They have some fish options and tons of root vegetables that are just as yummy as the not so fat free options ?

This used to be a great place to buy quality Spanish food. Now sometimes the meat is so salted that is like they do it on purpose. Also the Yung and pretty black girl with no empathy, serves the large plates as if they were small but still charges you the same money. that's a rip-off.

Wonderful, friendly service. I am obsessed with their rellenos de papá, alcapurrias and morcillas. They are very clean and wear gloves at all times while serving food. Love supporting local small businesses. Stop by and grab a fritura. You won't regret it!

The food was great, not too much season n not too little. Had arroz con gandules y pernil, delicious. Had an alcapuria as well. Lady serving was friendly. Place seems outdated, but food makes up for

I've been eating here since they opened in the early 2000's when I worked in New Britain. The food is always good. I don't even live in the area, it is worth the 30 minute drive. I live north of Hartford and will stop here if I'm anywhere close to New Britain.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is on an incline, but there are no stairs.

The pastelito tasted old and like the oil it was cooked in. The beans were watery and tasteless. Do not recommend.

The pernil and rice and beans were delicious!!! Nice serving! Excellent customer service from the older gentleman. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

The food was decent, and the service, I think the female cashier behind the desk may have been putting up an act. She was like a coconut, hard on the outside, soft on the inside. She initially has a serious demeanor, and then when opening up a conversation topic, she quickly began smiling. OVERALL a decent experience.
