The food was good but the bartender needs more training

I attended a private family event in one of the two rooms they have that are available for a fee. Overall the entire venue was beautiful! The cozy fireplace couch areas are very nice to sit & have a drink or eat some of the delicious food that the two eateries have to offer. The decor was very inviting, with an industrial flare. Great mixed use space that flows well together. Highly recommend! Well done remaining of this downtown space while honoring the architectural style of the area. Will definitely go again and tell others about it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian optionsParking: Free street parking after around 6pm. Meters during daytime hours.Kid-friendliness: Room for kids & kid friendly food choices. Kids must be watched by the adults they're with to respect others that are there to enjoy themselves.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility

I try to come here as often as possible to help ensure this place stays around forever. What a great contribution to New Britain, and my favorite place to bring a friend for a coffee or drink to sit on the couches and hang out.

"Working the assembly lineJust gettin' by with a little bit of overtime"(Johnny Cash)Visiting the Assembly Room was a real unexpected pleasure. It's a food court or a food hall that either has 4 or 6 vendors inside, depending if you count the Torta-Fowl Play-Burrito Loko counter as one place or three. When you enter the premises you'll see a gorgeous bar that looks like it was transported from the Park Plaza in Boston - seriously, it is beautiful. On the other side of the bar is a nice coffee shop and bakery.Walk down to the back of the space and you'll pass The Industrial Kitchen - a Salvadoran food stand on your right.Keep walking and you'll hit the big counter where those three businesses share space.I had wanted to go to the Industrial Kitchen, but when I walked there the place was unattended and I couldn't even tell if they were open or closed.Instead, we walked down to Burrito Loko for a quesadilla and tacos. The Assembly Room has plenty of space to hang out, and I saw folks chilling at the coffee bar, working on their laptops, playing pool, or having a few mid-day pops at the bar.It was a great use of New Britain's urban space.

Nice place with a lot of space to move around and converse with your group. Bartender kept messing up my drink order, but it was busy and not a big deal to correct the issue. Several choices of food at different stations. Nice job with the renovations and bathrooms were very clean. HIGHLY

Very great ambiance, unfortunately we did not get a chance to eat because it closes sooooo early. I can not wait to go back to get the full experience. Nice lounge, it just closes way to early.

This very casual shiny-clean large-space counter-service restaurant serves up a mean chicken sandwich (the "OG") as well as a number of Mexican dishes. It was delicious. But if I ordered it again, I'd move down to the no-spice sauce because the level one tick up from that was too hot for me. Had to pay to park. Not expensive, but be aware.

So glad we stopped here after a trip to New Britain Museum of American Art. It's 1/2 mile away and was such a great find! It's a huge space which was basically empty when we got there at 2. The front is a well stocked bar, but we were only interested in food so we headed to the back . The choices were variety of fried chicken, or Mexican dishes. I ordered the taco salad. Honestly it was one of the best I have ever had! It came in a freshly made tortilla bowl with generous portions of guacamole, ground beef, cheese and beans. My friend enjoyed her quesadilla..so much food we both took 1/2 home. Sadly the coffee booth was closed as that would have been a perfect end to a delightful lunch
