The chicken soup in not authentic with no dumplings or roots. Only potato. 10 bucks for some small chicken and broth.

The food is okay. The restaurant is clean, the service is fine, but living in New Britain and this place being less than 5 min from me I am willing to travel to Hartford or Bloomfield for Jamaican food. It’s not nasty to me as some described but super okay.

This place is the most disrespectful restaurant in the area, they have absolutely 0 respect for customers, they sent anything they want, today I ordered 3 butter fish and a shrimp rasta pasta ended up receiving 2 chicken rasta pasta.

I bought fried chicken twice just to make sure, and the chicken is raw and old. Do better Uncle Ben, really. Ackee from the can tough, beware they don't boil it. Only the rice and peas taste good to me so far. I'll continue to review until you do better.

I ordered oxtails rice and peas and a side of jerked chicken. It was horrible. No flavor to the rice and oxtail. Never again. Especially for $25. Horrible ?

love this restaurant!!! they only serve pasta from thursday-sunday & i highly recommend their rasta pasta/fried dumplings & their red velvet cake!!!! super good & super affordable!!!
Stew Peas full of FAT, I love supporting JA but Uncle Ben's isn't living up to the hype. Goat Soup was also not pleasant, the color wasn't even close. I'll be sticking to Patties

Never eat here! This restaurant gives Jamaican food a bad reputation! The food is nasty, I ordered fry chicken and the chicken was old dry, refried, the meat was grey and black, it made my belly sick the next day. The rice was dry and they put sugar in it that's a no no. Eat Jamaican food somewhere else don't eat from here not even if your life depends on it.

Worse customer service and the food is not that great to compensate for the lack of service. Use to be a regular customer just for the soup but was disappointed in how they handled giving me an incorrect order. Again, I was a regular customer and they wouldn’t upgrade from a small to a large soup ($3 difference) I explained that I drove 10+ miles to come back and get my correct order and it was the least they could do for the inconvenience. Sadly, I will not recommend and will never order from this place again. There are plenty of better food options in the area with way better prices. My husband who is Jamaican said the soups were the only meal close to tasting authentic. All other items in the menu were either dry and/or bland.

Did an online order through Uber eats. Rude to the driver trying to locate my food order. They told my driver my order wasn’t received and fan the lady off. I tried to call myself no one answered; the line was busy and I even got the number outside of the restaurant from my driver and no one answered. No thank you.
