I have gone to eat stuffed arepas in several places and I couldn't really like them, but I had the opportunity to try these stuffed arepas and they are really fascinating. I also tried some kind of oatmeal and it was incredible. Furthermore, the man who served me has great charisma. % recommended, if you haven't been, don't hesitate to do so.
Trucks might look similar but AreoaCT is worth a stop on this busy Food Trucks strip in New Haven. Flavor is very much authentic. The arepa w shredded meat ( carne desmechada o ropa viaje for some) is tasty with or without the creamy green sauce given on the side. Portions are generous which is great to share and try many different items from their menu. Got the chicken arepa with avo and queso blanco, tequenos, and the chicken empanada! All were delish and the best I’ve had outside of Miami! But the star of the show were the two men working in the truck! Both were so kind and chatty! They gave us some samples if they’re fresh drinks, which were delicious as well! Would definitely recommend!!!
