“I was there from open till close. The Sevice was impeccable. Our sever was a sweet girl, very accommodating and thorough. The atmosphere was exactly to my liking. Busy but not loud, lite but not bright with the smell of great food all around us. The food was superb and priced appropriate for the size of the portions. Even more impressive was the wine list. We tried about 6 bottles. To my surprise I have never tasted previously. Every single one was excellent. Although the Rioja was a bit on the dry side, but still very tasty. “Met some friends here for the first time this past Sunday and we had a great experience. The place was jamming! We almost couldn’t find a seat. During the warmer months they have seating outside too but It’s a bit early in the season, so we were told. The atmosphere was lively and busy.The staff were attentive and the drinks were delicious. We ordered the flight of course and then had a few more. My personal favorite was the Cookie Monster! Liquid crack for lack of a better term is the best way to describe it. If you don’t like sweet than you definitely want to stick to a traditional espresso martini. The presentation was great and our entire group was happy. We will be returning. “Really nice place. Big outdoor area with 4 separate fire pit spots and a lot of picnic tables. The inside is just as big with two fireplaces. My only issue with the place is they do not let you try a beer before buying it. I'm not sure if that is the policy or the beertender just didn't want to bother letting us (wife and I) try any. We probably would have stayed longer if we were able to try some beers I never had before. They also have a full bar area.“
“Its a breath of fresh air as a craft beer lover to find a spot specializing in traditional german styles and not just shoving overproduced mediocre IPAs down your throat. They make a mean pilsner and dunkel with a nice rotating fruit gose as well.The venue is also super pretty offering a fun trivia night.The soft pretzels are fantastic but it's also in a perfect spot with the New Haven food court next door which they let you order and bring into the brewery!“
