Poor service. We waited for an hour to be seated with no communication at all. Then when we proceeded to sit at a table we were yelled at. I was appalled. I have been to Peru several times and was looking forward to this spot but will not return.

This was a birthday dinner with friends. My husband picked it because we love Petuvian food and it was restaurant week so we thought we'd try a new place. So disappointed. First it was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. The food was bland, from the soup to the empanadas it was lukewarm doughy and dry. The risotto was fishy and dry and tasteless as was my linguini dish. And we waited over an hour for our main course. Desserts were fair but rice pudding dry and mushy and to spend over 120.00 and our friends had to at our suggestion made us feel bad. We are all foodies and cooks and wished we had stayed home for a better meal than we got here. Won't return!!! We really had high hopes. Not a memorable meal at all.

I feel bad to put this review since this time was the second time I went to this restaurant and I used to like it. However, this weekend me and my family were there to celebrate my birthday this Saturday, april 6 and all we got was a bad service and grumpy face, the food was good but I can't say the same thing about the service, careless and disrespectful toward my parents and my family. When we got there we asked for a bigger table and all he did was puting two small tables together for 8 people! then we asked kindly if he could add another table and in which he refused at first and he asked us why.... in which we explain him that we will be too tight, and he procced to do it with a bad attitude......after that every time we asked him for anything he was responding with a bad manner and I was uncomfortable for me because we were not acting rude like for him to had such a nasty attitude toward us, in my case this will be the last time going to this restaurant. I am sorry.

I ordered a whole chicken with potatoes and salad to take away and it was a disappointment, the chicken was separated into 4 parts, one of them was from another older chicken, the green sauce was raw and the potatoes were frozen from bags, the food was expensive and the products were not fresh, I had high expectations for the food since the reviews were positive but it was a total disappointment

the food was delicious. i loved the empanada tasting! the lomo saltado was great. we had two desserts as well! the service was excellent, prompt to take orders, pre-bussed our table throughout dinner. THE COCKTAILS are beautifully done and also tasty. highly recommend.

Lovely atmosphere! We made reservations and were quickly seated upon arrival. Our waitress Daniela was very friendly and personable. She recommend us the ceviche mixto, lomo saltado and seafood chaufa of course, the food was wonderful!!! I highly recommend coming here! The atmosphere is very lively and lots of fun too. I'd recommend reservations since they did seem pretty packed on Friday night.

The food was very good and we are picky about this cuisine. The steamed mussels also fell through the bottom of the take out bag and they replaced it and the lomo soltado that followed.

As a Peruvian I am very exquisite with food, especially the ceviche (it was not that good) the pork rinds are delicious, the atmosphere is small and clean! The service was great!

We made a reservation at chacra restaurant because it was in the neighborhood of the omni hotel we were staying in. What a find!! The food was beyond exceptional! We had Ceviche classic that was baramundi on the evening we were there. Wonderful! papas a la huancaina delicious. Our veal hearth skewers and our pork belly chicharon were amazing. tres leches dessert was divine. The open kitchen is great because you can see the care and attention that the kitchen staff gives to every plate going out to the dining room. the Pisco Sours are a must! After all chacra transporting us to Peru while in New Haven.

This is an amazing Peruvian restaurant. The food is authentic and seasoned perfectly. The portion sizes make for great leftovers the next day. The staff is friendly and attentive, with an extensive craft cocktails and a nice pisco selection. Overall a great place that has become our favorite local restaurant
