Christy's Irish Pub is one of the best bars in New Haven. The owner and bartenders are very nice and professional. 5-stars easy!

This spot never fails to impress. They serve good food for affordable prices, there are no long waits even when they are full.

Yesterday was our first time we went to this fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the attentive service, with the superb cuisine and fine drinks and with the friendly payment. We will no doubt come back in a short time.

Authentic Irish pub. Great food too! Good selection of beer on tap. Great selection of Irish Whiskey. Veggie burger is delicious. It’s house made. I wish they would offer the steak fries again which were my favorite. Good options for vegetarians. Nachos are great.

Beverly is the best and set us up with the Democratic debate because my friend and I don't have TVs at home. She also put on a great music playlist. The tater tots at Christy's are the best, and the beer selection is top notch. I'm definitely coming back.

Food and prices good. Limited menu. Friendly waitstaff. Atmosphere was seedy, rundown neighborhood bar.

I've been living in New Haven for two years now. A friend recently invited me to meet at Christy's for a late night drink. He said it's real New Haven. You meet locals and all manner of interesting people there, he said. I was very excited. A new spot in town to check out ain't ever a bad thing. So come to Christy's I did. Sadly, it was the opposite of what my friend promised. The place is dirty. And the service ain't all that good either. I didn't feel safe there at all. And I couldn't trust the food or the drinks. It's not a nice thing to do, writing bad reviews, but I feel it's my duty to share feedback like this so that others can avoid the pain of having to experience what I did there. This place should be closed down. Or at the very least should improve its culture and service. New Haven deserves better bars. And there are amazing bars in town. But Christy's ain't one of them.
